Ooookk I think we've reached the pinnacle of ridiculousness on this topic

We really have when we are giving a QB credit for winning games by throwing 1 TD. How many games did Tony Pollard or the kicker win this season?

I guarantee you that Micah Parsons will have a higher number of sacks than Cooper Rush will have TDs by the time Cooper Rush is replaced by Dak.

Micah had more sacks than Dak had touchdowns against the Bucs in game 1.

it’s funny about the criticism some here have about Rushs performance against the SB Champion Rams where he went 10-16 for 106 yards but have conveniently left out Daks performance against the Bucs where he went 14-29 for 134 yards and an interception

for Dakota to get a whopping 28 more yards he had to throw the ball 13 more times….impressive

it's strange how a backup scares them. why do they need to discredit Rush?

I agree. Its the equivalent of a playoff game really. We must bring it to a new level this week. If we don't I expect we will lose and lose badly. They don't wanna beat us, they wanna embarrass us. A loss here makes it an uphill climb the rest of the year.
Yeah I really believe this is asking an awful lot of Cooper Rush.

It's really a tough spot to put him in

Dak Prescott 7-3 has a passer rating of 96.2 with 2,410 yards, 16 touchdowns and 7 interceptions in 10 games versus the Eagles in his career.
Can you take the stats without having Cooper at WR. I think you’ll find he sucks in games without Amari around. Also not the same eagles this year as in the past;). You’ll find is just over 600 yards with an average rating. He’s technically 2-1 not counting game where Romo got hurt, he’s 2-2 if you count it. Here’s the reference https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/dak-prescott-record-without-amari-cooper

Literally like that first game doesn't exist in their minds. Nor the playoff game last year where he was awful as well and failed twice to lead a game-winning drive at the end including a boneheaded play to end the game

If he beats the eagles, he’s 100% beating the lions and bears. That’s why Jerry won’t let him start those games

Right, why would fans that actually watch the games want to leave out a game that Dak did not even finish because of a broken hand.

Perhaps we should compare Cooper Rush's 1 quarter of football in the Bucs game to Daks last full game while we are comparing full games vs partial games.

Depends on how it happens. Defensive win or Rush kills the Eagles defense.

Exactly.

If Rush balls out and puts up 400 yards and 5 TDs, then I might be inclined to keep him in the lineup.

However, if its more just kicking FGs and letting Micah and the defensive do the heavy lifting, I am not impressed. Time for Dak next week.

Okay, if the Cowboys win and Cooper Rush has more impact on the outcome of this game than Dak had last year against the Eagles, then sure, I'll be on board..

Let's see,

In the two Eagles games last year, Dak threw for a combined 535 yards, 8 TD's, 0 INT's, with a 78.2% completion rate while recording two of his top four career games in passer rating while leading the Cowboys to two wins with point margins of 20 and 25 respectively.

I'll tell you what, Cooper doesn't even have to surpass these numbers, only match the average, and I'll admit there is a controversy

I'll be expecting a 78% completion rate giving him 267 yards, 4 TD's and 0 INT's with a scoring margin of at least 22 points.

That's fair, isn't it?

No because the Eagles rested their starters in the second game in preparation for the playoffs.

I think he should start the Lions and bears games.
He deserves the opportunity for taking on the heavy lifting of the Eagles game that is definitely beyond a test of his skill set.

Very disappointing that DAk is not going to lead his team in this very important game.

Definitely a reason why no one was allowed to see him throw with his right hand Jerry didn't want people asking why he wasn't going to start when nothing looked the matter with him.

Good riddance to Dak. It’s about time the cowboys are ridden of this overhyped loser
