It seems I always take an instant dislike to "fans" who express such defeatist views... I like to tell them that I wouldn't want them on any team I played for, 'cause I don't want to have to carry no quitters...

Never have gone into a game thinking I had no chance, no matter how badly my team was mismatched...

There's no shame associated with losing a game, but there sure is shame associated with giving up before the game's even played...

And won't you feel like a card-carrying idiot tomorrow night if (make that WHEN) the Cowboys rack up the W??

I'd say the 4th ranked offense in the league stands a pretty fair chance of putting some serious points up on the 31st ranked defense, which means that worst case scenario, the Boys will be in a shootout... and if the Faiders continue their recent trend of shooting themselves in the foot with injuries (and especially if they turn the ball over a couple-three times), we might actually be looking at a ROUT for the Boys...

The good news is, if (make that WHEN) the Boys do win the game, you can count on me to merrily remind you of your negativity... just know in advance there won't be any real anger (at most, maybe a little disgust) in my merriment...

No problem. I just figured someone else would have pointed it out sooner or later and didnt want you thinking that was the only reason I replied.

Oh, and as a side note .. I had the electronic football game you have as your avatar when I was young I know they've re-released them again but I had the original .. Also had the basketball game and a friend of mine had the baseball game.

I played that game to death as a kid. Also had the baseball game but never played the basketball game. When I saw they re-released them I went ahead and ordered one off ebay several months ago. Think that was the 1st electronic football game I ever played. After that I was hooked on intellivision's football
