Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Miles Austin get the start as well. But bagging on Crayton is completely unwarranted (unless you want to bag on him for the muffed punt. That was atrocious.)

he hasnt been reliable since 2007, he used to have the best hands on our team, now he is muffing punts, dropping catches every week it seems, and he fumbled that ball at the beginning of the game and everyone knows it. with Roy as our number 1 we need speed at #2. austin is a great compliment to Roy.

crayton has been underwhelming since he lost us that playoff game. he is a number 3, has always been, and will always be.

P.S. crayton scares noone, DCs probably don't even know his name.. Miles is dangerous and needs to be accounted for

Crayton seems to have the jitters this season. His decision making on punts is awful. He fair catches with 20 yards in front of him and tries to return the ball with a guy right in his face. It makes no sense. I don't want to bag him, but I expect more of him. Hopefully he settles down and plays well after the bye. And yes, Austin should start.

the thing is austin's made for the number 2 spot with his speed, really with his size and speed he could be a #1, but he will need to prove a bit more for that, heh.. crayton is not fast, he is a quick possesion reciever. built for the slot.. put crayton in the slot and miles out wide.. and lets never look back.
