If Dak stays, does it mean the same for Big Mike?

Jerry continues to praise Mike for the job he's done with Dak. He's gotten us 12 wins in the last 3 seasons during the regular season. Would Dak have any influence on if they keep Mike or not? Or would they make Dak accept going with a new coach??? Please give your thoughts, I know Jazz has them!!!!

Why not?!? We are not winning either way. The only way it makes sense to get a new coach would be if that coach can "fix" Dak.

Let's name the coach that can fix Dak.....*crickets*
But by Jerry giving Dak a record deal, he's assuming that it will naturally happen by itself

Say we go 12-5 again and lose in the first round of the playoffs and Dak play horrible. Who goes/stays?

Unless Dak has success in the playoffs this year, next year he'll be 32 with a 2-5 playoff record and asking for 60-65M per year.

I doubt Dak cares about anyone but himself and his bag.

Not asking he'll have already received that, probably will get it some time soon just like the dolphins made big headlines with Ramsey's signing!!! Dak needs to get us further

then why act like you want to "stay here for life, I love it here, wouldn't rather be anywhere else stuff???"
Because he knows Jerry is going to cave and give him what he wants

Jerry is all set up to scapegoat Mike when we don't go any farther and to sell the next HC as the difference-maker who will get Dak and us over the top.

It's so obvious.

What's sad is how many blind fans will buy it.

He praised him in public but didn’t extend him, that says it all. No CCG and Fat Mike is gone and in all likelihood the the next HC is saddled with a anchor called Dak.

hope so.
considering the environment...he's done a helluva job.

the same guy who hired mccarthy...will hire the next hc nobody likes.
the same guy who drafted dak and signed him to his extension...will draft the replacement that nobody will like.
the thing that needs to change is THAT GUY making the decisions...that nobody likes.

There isn’t anything to fix with Dak, but there’s a lot of things to fix with this team that continues to put games on his shoulders in the playoffs. This isn’t about fixing the QB who’s been leading us to 12-5 seasons, it’s about fixing the team. No head coach is going to be able to fix the team with the Joneses running the show.

Hell, many have already bought in this year with a lame duck HC, DC, and potentially QB and bringing in old Zeke. I didn't forget about the playoff game.

So Dak is responsible for the 12-5 record, but it's the TEAM who is responsible for the 2-5 playoff record? Lol

During the majority of the regular season we play as a team, which is why we’re coming off three straight 12-5 seasons. What we see from the team in the playoffs is what we see during our worst regular season performances. What we saw against Green Bay in the playoffs is exactly what we saw against Arizona, San Francisco, and Buffalo. When the Cowboys perform as a cohesive unit, Dak performs well. It’s the entire team that’s responsible for our regular season and playoff record but fans like you put every bad game entirely on Dak. You refuse to give him any credit for our 12-5 seasons but you put the entire blame on him for our 2-5 playoff record under him. Funny how that works.
