If defense plays at a high level we will be okay

Lee has said that we are starting to look like a championship defense. If that's true, even with some offensive drop off, we should be okay. It was always unlikely that we were going to win the division the way the Eagles season has gone so far.

We just need to get in, and Zeke will be back for the push in the playoffs. The OL should keep the running game respectable at a minimum and we may be surprised how well it does. Regardless if losing Zeke means we aren't reaching the playoffs then honestly we weren't going to do much this year anyway.

Yeah if losing Zeke means this wild card hope of a team doesn't make the playoffs they weren't going to do anything anyway. He's only one of the best players in the entire league and stuff. Should be a minimal impact.

I agree. A lot is going to depend on how the defense performs. the Cowboys offense also has to keep moving the ball so the defense won't be on the field all game.

Everybody has to step up. He's arguably your best player and certainly the engine of an offense that leads this team.

Hopefully they can rally to beat Atlanta because they're getting absolutely smoked the following week.

Agree with your "take". The blah blah if we can't blah blah then we wouldn't blah. Such BS.

We need good players to beat good teams. When you remove a GREAT player it can swing a match-up counted on as a means to victory.

Lost in this-is how can the Cowboys reasonably adjust personnel on the fly with a game just 3 days away?

Well.... they had a full week of practice last week and I would assume nearly a full week this week. I would expect they are as ready as they are going to get.

If the defense plays like they did against KC, we can win a superbowl, but consistency is a problem.

The guys replacing Zeke aren't scrubs. They know how to run. There will be more pressure on Dak, yes, but if we drop from 28 to 25 pts per game we are still in the top 10 in scoring.

We lost 3 games because the defense allowed 30 plus points, so it's not about minimizing Zeke but pointing out that our loses have been because when we couldn't stop people.
