That leaves just one team in the NFC who hasn't been to the NFC championship since Dallas' almost 30 year drought, Washington. Every other NFC team has made the NFC championship game in this span. Heck, Arizona has made 2 and almost won a Super Bowl.

Detroit has a great chance to make this game seeing they will now have it at home and get the winner of Tampa or Philly.
I hope they do, to further show how incompetent this current management is.
We are not winning squat with the current set up.

Again, we have plenty of threads talking about how bad the Cowboys played. I am giving the Packers credit. When healthy they appear to be very good.
Not good enough to play a better team and have guys wide open like they did against us. Not saying they're bad, just saying we made them look all world

I am going to rewatch the game a few times but it looked like we got out schemed. I agree with you that San Francisco will be ready but I wonder if they can cover those receivers. The Packers might have had the best offensive draft the last two years that I can remember.

So we’re in a race with Washington to the NFCCG. My money is on Washington. They’ve had a change in ownership and is working to clear out the toxicity of the organization. We are not. They’ll win a Super Bowl before we do.
I believe this. As long as the Jones boys are running things, we aren't getting back to the NFCCG.

Anyone see the on field interview after the Detroit game. The player said everyone wanted to play Dallas again. They knew Dallas is a joke and would fold as soon as they got physical with them.

Yep and at least Washington has a chance now. The only hope this team has is if the Jones’ sell or swallow their pride and hire someone that can build the team properly.

The Daniel Snyder era made the last 30 years of Jerry look like a god send. I honestly don't even know the last time they won a single playoff game in their history. MAYBE 2005Ish! We will see what new ownership brings them. Don't think they will be any different for awhile, not until they find a QB. You just can't win in today's game without a good one. Or at least serviceable and the rest of the roster is extremely good. But they aren't that.
You are correct. 2005-06 posteason --- Washington beat Tampa Bay 17-10 in a wildcard game.

If Texans get to a super bowl (dont need to win it), Cowboys will lose young fans because state of TX hasnt seen a football winner in close to 3 decades.

Undisciplined and unprepared is on the coaching. Defense set the tone as usual when a decent team has the ball first, roll over and put the team behind the eight ball. 7 drives, 6 touchdowns are not gonna do it. What the hell was this coaching staff doing all week?? It was like the SF, Miami last drive, and Buffalo games. Could not make a team punt. Completely unacceptable. Quinn is overrated along with this defense. Get rid of this whole coaching staff. Unfortunately, we also have to keep Dak for next year. You cannot get beat at home in the playoffs like that by a first time young team. Dak is a front runner. Still the defense was the biggest issue yesterday. Same B.S. for 20 years can't stop anyone when it counts!!!
This team was unprepared and undisciplined prior to Quinn and McCarthy though…..

Nope. The Dallas Cowboys are America's teams. There is only one.

Heck, count NFC in the Super Bowl. Only Lions, Commanders and Vikings didn't make it in yet since then.

They are the favorites for the Super Bowl, IMO. Someone will go up against that screen-pass offense of SF and win. I thought last night's game basically was the NFC Championship.

Green Bay was the best offensive team I have seen the Cowboys play all season by my eye test. The Green Bay troll who came on the board during was on to something. The Packers literally have 6 good receivers.
The Dallas effect. So many of these teams look lights out against us and when they go play a real defense, they come back down to earth. Seattle looked just as good when we played them last month. Geno Smith looked like Joe Montana out there. The only difference from that game to yesterday was our offense kept up the whole time and the defense made some plays.

SF will smoke GB. I'm not sure it will even be close. They will get pressure, press those WRs all game and wear them down. Our defense is a joke.

I disagree. Packers will lay an egg as usual after beating us in the playoffs. We made Aaron Rodgers look like superman both games against us, and this was the same talk. People were penciling them in for the Super Bowl but the next week, their offense turned to mush and they lost.

SF's defense is physical and they get pressure. GB is absolutely not having guys run wide open all game long and they won't give the huge cushion we did all night,
