Not necessarily. I don't know what he was asking for before, but if it was megaton money, he hasn't impacted us week in and week out like Calvin Johnson did the year where he had like 1900 yards.

He also hasn't definitely claimed the #2 wr rank, since guys like Julio Jones, AJ Green, Demarius Thomas and Josh Gordon have been just as impactful in years past.

So his price is only going up if he had a terrible agent that was attempting to get him less then what these guys will ultimately sign for.

Even without a new contract, Jerry Jones will not allow Dez to just walk away. He will at a minimum slap the franchise tag on Dez and assure he remains a Cowboy an extended year. I don't know why he would do it but Jerry could even do this for 2 years. Dez is a high performance dude and one way or another, Jerry will eventually give Dez a huge payday.
