If Diggs doesn't go down, do you think the season would have gone differently?

No. Maybe we lose 41-32.
Maybe we win 1 more regular season game and we're the #1 seed. It's not impossible.

The ironic thing about that is if we were the #1 seed and the Packers beat their opponents we would have still faced them in the Divisional Round.

Jay I appreciate your positivity brother. But honestly I can’t see what you’re seeing. Diggs would not have been able to stop the run game that gashed this team by all the teams we lost to this year.

No

Plus this is the NFL. You have to expect to lose a few starters along the way. You’re not going to get through 17 games plus 2-3 playoff games without key players getting hurt.

No, he can only play 1 position and I will argue until you beat me to a pulp that LVE was more of a major loss for us and at least Bland filled in more than admirably for Diggs..just my op
lve has been mediocre for the last 3 seasons, part of the reason why the D was so ineffective against the run over that time span. Are you referring to 2018 LVE?

Exactly, a ballhawk corner can't salvage the mess that was the Cowboys on Sunday. Thats asking too much of anyone player. The only player I can think of who may have made a difference was the Playmaker, Michael Irvin - because he would have been on the sidelines taking peoples heads off for playing with so little heart. It was an organizational failure on an epic level, one player can't fix that.

No. Dallas was actually pretty lucky with injuries this season. Next season it will be somebody else. At least we had depth behind Diggs.

No. Diggs is good but he’s not good enough to overcome bad coaching. Green Bay completely outcoached us, Diggs couldn’t have done much there.

In the regular season I think we may have won more games and maybe got the 1st seed. But on defense our run defense and scheme did us in. JMHO

Agreed, this D is banana pudding down the middle. Another seasoned NT plus 2 starting caliber LB's are once again needed this off-season. #33 is trash and several of the interior lineman have been badly miscast by the DC.

But you see how just one more regular season win could have changed everything. We tied with SF so we'd have the #1 seed. Then we get the bye. Green Bay would then face the #2 seed SF in the WC round and probably lost. We probably end up facing Tampa Bay in the Divisional Round. I definitely think in that scenario we would have gotten to the NFC Championship and probably faced the 49ers in Dallas and lost.

So the answer is yes because we probably wouldn't have had the same path at all.

Nope. Score might have been closer is all. The bottom line is the Cowboys still lose.
I agree that the Cowboys still lose, but disagree about the score being closer. The score was as close as it was because Green Bay took their foot off of the gas and put in backups. They didn't have to do that so Diggs wouldn't have made much of a difference either way. Don't forget his performance last playoffs, shying away from a critical tackle.

Most of these guys are all about the paycheck, not about winning. It's all business decisions.

Poor OP does not watch the games.
I just explained how one more regular season win changes the entire playoff picture. I'm not wrong and I think it's not unreasonable to think Diggs could have gotten us one more victory. Probably @Philly.
