If Bijan Robinson is there at 26 do we take him?
Who else is there at the time we draft? I am hoping he isnt there so we dont take him. But he is one hell of a back. Just dont like the value in a RB heavy draft.

This is like the take Zeke at 4 instead of Henry in the 2nd type of thing.
A little, I guess.

The Henry/Zeke thing was much more extreme. The Cowboys weren't considering Henry at 4th overall, but if they knew (but how could they?) that Henry would still be their full round later and they could take him in the 2nd, then they may've passed on Zeke and taken a stud at another position in the first round

The Felix Jones/Chris Johnson choice was just a standard late 1st round draft pick.
The Cobwoys chose Felix Jones just 1 pick in front of Chris Johnson....not a full round.

Jaylon Ramsey was the easy pick over Zeke. Primary position and one of the best CB prospects to come out in years. Instead they picked a RB, one of the least important positions in football. And why? For all the reasons Zeke went in the toilet after 4 seasons.

Yeah, way too early to take RB, imo

If he's so good why is he available at 26.. I wouldn't want him at 26. It means 25 teams passed on him....
How many teams passed on Tom Brady? Micah Parsons fell to us and many teams looked past him, but if they could do the draft over, he'd be taken near the top.

If Bijan is there, you absolutely take him at 26, especially if there are no other real impact players at other positions to pick up. We see how important the running game is to the Cowboys and we don't know what we have in Pollard after his injury, especially since we're going to make him the primary back if we don't resign Zeke on the cheap.

Robinson could get drafted earlier then expected. I remember in 2021 a week before the draft it appeared the Cowboys would have there choice of corners because Detroit, Carolina, and Denver needed quarterbacks. You just never know what teams are thinking.

No. I will never understand this practice. The career longevity just isn’t there. You want someone who will be there a decade or longer

Who cares about the longevity.

You get him for 5 seasons.

If he’s legit you can trade him after the 4th season or possibly the 5th.

With Dak as the QB I think investing in offensive line and RBs is always a top priority.

Always the appropriate question, Roy.
