You're right don't let Romo have a game like Brees had tonight. Because tommorrow they will be doing Segments on every single Show talking about how Romo isn't the answer, how he is a Average QB, How Dallas will never win a superbowl with him and Blah, Blah, Blah.


Brees has a bad game and they just talk about it for a minute or two.

But basically what you are saying is that turnovers are acceptable as long as we get some back in return...? It's all about turnover margin. If we protect the ball on offense, it doesn't matter how many turnovers we get on defense. So if we have three turnovers on offense and get three on defense, we are no better than if we give up none and get none... From an offensive players perspective, you can't complain about not getting any turnovers from your defense until you stop turning the ball over yourselves... and vise versa...

I am not saying they are acceptable at all.

I am saying they happen to the best, don't say that Romo is not elite or in the same class as Rodgers because of some of the ones he throws because they happen to the best of them every week in the NFL.

I'm not saying that Romo isn't elite... I love Romo... I have defended him many times... I didn't "bring up the defense..." it was noted that he has to do so much more because the defense doesn't create any turnovers for him. All I'm saying is don't bash the defense for lack of turnovers unless you're ready to bash the offense for too many turnovers...
