The man was a TRUE Playmaker and there was no doubt in my mind he was the heart of the 90s TEAms( Not to take anything away from Emmitt and Troy).


Do you guys remember Michael on that interview with Stephen A. Smith " quite Frankly"?

He looked in Stephen's face and straight up told him if he was still playing for the COWBOYS that he would lead them to the SUperbowl, then he flashed his RINgs ...The guy was a true competitor.

That right there just made me shiver..That comment alone made me remember the glory days and to be honest I even shed a TEAR.

Anyways I'll stop rambling on and on about Michael I think we all know what he means to us.

aikman may have better numbers, but i personally do not think that aikman ever displayed the ability to elevate his team, or put the team on his shoulders.

staubach in several seasons did exactly that.
