"'The more I know the less I understand...' Don Henley" one more time I am going to lay open a vein. That must be his new obsession. I have heard him say that about a million times this season. That and the Curly Howard "wooops." What a total tool that jackleg is.

That is all.

got the call today, I didnt wanna hear
But I knew that it would come
An old, true friend of ours was talkin on the phone
She said youd found someone
And I thought of all the bad luck,
And the struggles we went through
And how I lost me and you lost you
What are these voices outside loves open door
Make us throw off our contentment
And beg for something more?
Im learning to live without you now
But I miss you sometimes
The more I know, the less I understand
All the things I thought I knew, Im learning again
Ive been tryin to get down
To the heart of the matter
But my will gets weak
And my thoughts seem to scatter
But I think its about forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, even if you dont love me anymore
These times are so uncertain
Theres a yearning undefined
And people filled with rage
We all need a little tenderness
How can love survive in such a graceless age?
The trust and self-assurance that lead to happiness
Theyre the very things - we kill I guess
Pride and competition
Cannot fill these empty arms
And the work I put between us
You know it doesnt keep me warm
Im learning to live without you now
But I miss you, baby
And the more I know, the less I understand
All the things I thought Id figured out
I have to learn again
Ive been trying to get down
To the heart of the matter
But everything changes
And my friends seem to scatter
But I think its about forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, even if you dont love me anymore
There are people in your life whove come and gone
They let you down you know they hurt your pride
You better put it all behind you baby; life goes on
You keep carryin that anger; itll eat you up inside, baby
Ive been trying to get down
To the heart of the matter
But my will gets weak
And my thought seem to scatter
But I think its about forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, even if you dont love me
Ive been tryin to get down
To the heart of the matter
Because the flesh will get weak
And the ashes will scatter
So Im thinkin about forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, even if you dont love me
Forgiveness
Forgiveness - baby
Forgiveness
Forgiveness
Forgiveness
Forgiveness
Even if, you dont love me anymore

It's sad that I knew the song you referenced :

I wish Beerman fat belly would sing "This is the end" then join Morrison.

If you see him Jim, kick him in the nads.

I can't stand the NFL Countdown show. You have Berman giving out nicknames every ten seconds, I'm think he just randomly shouts out stuff and hopes it sticks. You can't understand what Keyshawn is saying because he always has Parcells balls in his mouth. The game has long passed Ditka by. I don't think that he could ever coach in the NFL again. TJ is always having to answer the "From?" question by Berman so he can't analyze anything. And God bless Emmitt, I love him, my all-time favorite Cowboy, but he is not cut out for NFL pregame.

A very Cowboy related thread.

In all fairness...It is the offseason.

I've met Berman several times, and seen him more than enough. He is an *******.

When they opened the first ESPN Zone in Baltimore, Berman was there for every Sunday night game.

Berman does one thing better than anyone else: The postgame highlights. I think his awareness of the critical elements of a game, his nicknames and ability to describe the highlight is unmatched. I really miss NFL primetime on ESPN. That show on NBC on Sunday nights is horrendous.

Aside from that, Berman is tough to watch, especially during pregame segments.

When I get sick of Berman, I change the channel - try it sometimes - it works good.

I would rather complain about him. :D

I don't watch that pregame show, I think I would die. I do tend to run into him on one of the 14 hours of SportsCenter they show during the day.

I have to say, despite my criticism, he does rock a mean combover mullet.

I watch the pre-game and mute it a lot when Berman is speaking. I actually think he TRIES to irritate Cowboys fans - seriously - that's why I refuse to let the idiot bother me.

Well, I don't care about his Cowboys bias. Most of them are like that. I just think he is a generally annoying goofball. He's the kind of guy I thought was pretty funny from about 1985-1989 (when I was in the 12-16 age range). He's a no talent clown and the kind of guy that goes through life stepping in doo doo and comes out smelling like a rose. He's also the kind of guy I wouldn't mind stepping out in front of a fast moving tour bus.
