This is what I am doing between now and 2018 training camp

1. Move Byron Jones to CB and move Brown to slot. Evaluate for next 5 games.
2. Make a run at Drew Brees in off-season. I get sense NO is not offering him long term deal. I would stack piles of cash to ceiling to get Brees for 2-3 years. Dak gets to watch and learn from possibly most cerebral QB in game.
3. Draft WR in 1st round. I think Dallas needs to keep Dez for 1 more year and lets not act like he is horrible receiver. He is not. He just isn't elite anymore. I would let Noah Brown split reps with Williams rest of season
4. Jaylon is starting to impress me. Let him play 35 snaps game and see if he holds up. I still draft or sign FA LB in off-season.
5. Draft RB in middle of draft. This team cant be held hostage to possible injury/suspension from Zeke going forward. Its a waste of OL resources for Morris, McFadden, Smith of the world running behind it. I need someone who puts some fear into defense that he can take it to house.
6. Draft or sign offensive swing tackle. The Chaz Green experiment is over.
7. Work out deal with Rod Marinelli so he can be consultant (similar to Monte Kiffin exit) and bring in young DC. I know alot of us want Garrett gone but there is just too much money on table Jerry would lose by firing him now. I think Garrett gets 1 more year.

Not saying it's a bad idea, but there's no way Dak goes to a backup role to sit and learn, so he can eventually be the starter again. We've come too far. You start him for 2 more years and see what is there. That said, don't hesitate to draft a QB in those next 2 years if a guy you like is there.

1. Makes sense, but then who starts at safety? Jeff Heath and Xavier Woods? That could get real ugly real quick.
2. I don't think you can bench Dak at this point and expect anything out of him in the future. I also don't think we're a contender right now so don't see the point in bringing in Brees. I also just don't see that whole ordeal working out in general, but I guess I can't attack that as an acquisition in general.

1. Fire the coaching staff
2. Hire new HC and preferentially GM
3. In FA abd draft need to acquire starting quality 1T DT, MLB (NOT Smith), FS, WR, PR/KR
4. Depth at LB, OL, WR

And before you say anything....




these can be done in one off season with the right FO
