It's clear McCarthy and his coaches have given up. They did nothing to prepare or gameplan for this game at all. The entire staff is "quiet-quitting" - they knew they were on a 1-year deal together and now they have no desire to work hard to dig themselves out of this hole.

If I was McCarthy I would pull out all the stops , I have packages for Lance running the ball in his own set of plays.I would have Luepke very involved in the short passing game .I would put Deuce in a beasley type roll.You know a few new wrinkles.I would bring some motion into the offense , and see if Mingo can run a little bit.

If I was McCarthy, I would keep collecting my paycheck. Next year go back to my basement and watch every play of every team of the 2024 season except the Arlington Jonesboys.

I think this is true. I understand Cooper Rush is not starting caliber, but he looked totally unprepared. He was clueless and just brutal to watch. He had all week knowing he was starting. And this effort is what we got?

to be fair he tried some forward passes, they didnt go well....MM offense is from the 90's but with Rush behind center what routes can you run?

McCarthy DOES NOT CARE. The time for pulling out all the stops was last week while we were still on life support. Instead we got 3 yard passes and making Zeke feel included. How much more do people need to see before it's clear that nobody here cares?
