I call the kid up to the podium and give him MVP trophy and the car.
(Even if he can't give him the MVP trophy, you make he gesture)

Seriously. It's the right thing to do.

I would.

Would have been a classy move, and maybe took a little stink off the Patriots. You should have been giving them PR advice :):)

That might have been the most valuable play of the game, but Brady was absolutely the game's MVP.

That was playing through the back of the WR and should have been called either way... Love how the NFL said it would call DB penalties strictly enforce it, but allow Butler to hit 83 on the 3 and right side, knocking him on the ground to make the INT.

Chevy Gave Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady a Truck He’ll Never Use
Posted on 02 February 2015 byTony Markovich

Tom Brady has owned a multitude of different high-end automobiles. He’s had an Audi R8, at least one Range Rover, and he’s been spotted filling up a Rolls-Royce Ghost. And that’s just what the paparazzi have been lucky enough to see him in.

But, sure, Chevrolet, he’s totally going to love that Chevrolet Colorado (considering the GMC is the official vehicle of the NFL, why not the Canyon, at the very least?) you just gave him for earning the Super Bowl MVP.

Four years ago, Aaron Rodgers was awarded a Camaro convertible. Three years ago, Eli Manning was given a Corvette Grand Sport. Two years ago, Joe Flacco got a brand new Corvette, which is by far the best car any MVP has been given. Even Malcolm Smith got a full-size Silverado.

Brady would never do it. It's the uppity in him.

The "kid" made #4 possible ... When in seconds Brady was going to be 0-3 after going 3-0 in Super Bowls.

Agree. That falling catch & game ending interception will be lost in the telling of the " legend of Tom Brady"

Should have at least made the gesture. Sincere or not.
Why doesn't GM give them all maxed out Caddys or Corvettes ?

I passed on the SB for the first time in 35 years.
I know Butler got the pick at the end of the game.
Did he account for 3 other TDs and/or stopped TDs?
Maybe he had 15 tackles and at least one more pick?
Maybe a punt return for a TD?
You guys are not saying that one play made him MVP for the entire game, I'm giving you credit for that...right?

Not all plays are equal. Normally, I'd agree with you, but that game was lost, and that play by the rookie DB was unbelievable. He really did gift-wrap a win for a team that had been beaten, despite a great game from Brady before that. In this rare case, I happen to think that one single play was more important than everything his teammates did that day, in total. It was as clutch as you can be at the time when you absolutely had to have it.

Plus, it's a lot more interesting than giving it to the franchise QB yet again. And a much better story for after the game to-boot. If you're not going to reward stuff like that, you might as well call the award Most Valuable Quarterback and admit it's the two-man race it actually ends up being most of the time.

New England loses by 20 points without Brady.
They lose by 3 points if not for Butler

In the end, I don't like either team so I'm fine with the outcome
