Lets say Witten has another healthy 16 game season and has less than 85 receptions, how many wins do you see us having?

I don't see one having to do anything with the other, but I see us with 10 wins.

Has Witten even been targeted yet? It's been pretty much all Romo to Dez so far...which I think is a good thing. lol

8-8.

Honestly, I'd like to see Witten at no more than 70 receptions.

Witten going for 110 reception on 150 targets at a paltry 9.4 yards per receptions again would mean that the WRs didn't emerge like they needed to.

I'll second that. I want defenses to key on Witten so Romo can spread the wealth.

I love Witten, but he needs to get about 4 receptions a game. So, I'd say he should only get about 60-70 receptions.

Any more than that and the talent at WR Is being wasted.

Has Romo thrown Witten's way, yet?

I dont think its a bad thing if Witten has less than 85 catches as long as that means Dez is tearing it up.

We've yet to see much of Witten because of the basic play calling IMO. I think once we open up our play calling we'll be running more TE schemes to create mis matches, kinda like how New England does with their TEs. I think Witten will have fewer catches then his norm, but the TE group as a whole will have more catches this year.

To answer your question, I think we'll be 10-6, though I don't think it(your question) really influences our record.

if Witten is targeted that much again, it would show me that the running game and offensive line is a disaster, no balance on offense once again and that the Cowboys are playing from behind a lot and as a result they need to throw quick passes because Romo hasn't got any time in the pocket to go down field..

100% agree. In fact, IF Dez is truly the new focal point of the passing game AND Austin somehow stays healthy, then I see the breakdown for the Top 3 like this:

Bryant: 90-95 catches
Witten: 65-70
Austin: 65-70

That STILL represents a balanced passing game, with (of course) your lead guy getting a couple more grabs a game.
