If Jerry laments firing Gailey so much, does that mean he's willing to re-hire him?

A lot of mention lately of Jerry's decision in keeping Wade around being partially due to his guilty conscience over having fired Chan after only 2 seasons a decade ago. Does this mean that he's willing to bring him in as an offensive coordinator if Garrett leaves and Gailey is jettisoned from KC when the new general manager is hired there?

What the hell? Why would you want this loser back? He was freaking awful. And he was awful at Ga Tech for years as a HC too.

That said, Jones is saying he "regrets" the Gailey thing more to justify Phillips now than actually meaning he regrets dumping Chan. It's his way of rationalizing.

That would be stupid of Jerry, because all of us plus everyone nationwide would say "well Jerry, then why'd you fire Jimmy after two consecutive SUPER BOWL WINNING SEASONS?"
