If JG stays nothing will change

If they think they're just going to re-sign our own guys and come out doing the same thing next year with a draft class that has no first rounder then we will be lucky if we make the playoffs considering the division champion hasn't repeated in over a decade.

Remember how they were going to do all these new things offensively this year? The changes were minor at best and the offense was still lacking from a creativity point of view.

We are too bland and too basic. The remaining 4 playoff teams embrace the chess side of football.

Dallas needs to do the same.

If the coaches aren't capable of it then we need change.

This team’s ceiling will still be the divisional round. No point in discussing the draft, free agency, assistant coaches, etc.
Hmmm..

take a breathe..

there..clear your head..

repeat after me..

We have won the Eastern Division 3 out of 5 years with this trash coach.

That is not irrelevent.

Repeat..

"We have won the Eastern Division...." etc.

Just playing with you.

Relief for the stress.

Can't wait for our next playoff win in the 2022 Wild Card round.

If there are no changes, why would anyone expect anything different than what we have seen for a quarter century?

Anybody who thinks we can stay with the same clown outfit running the show and suddenly compete for championships are completely delusional. Sean McVey completely outcoached Garrett......again. Just like all coaches do when the playofss come around

With no changes in coaching or management and with a first place schedule, next year will be a 7 to 9 win season.

How do I know that? Because that is the way it ALWAYS is with this crew.

All four of the top seeds won...and three won in dominating fashion. The gap between the teams is exaggerated by the seeding advantage, which they earned.

Getting the bye w/home field advantage is a big deal. I am willing to discuss needful changes but to the OP and his dreary pessimism all I got is:
No.

truth is..you make a great point...in between all the finger pointing and excuses,pessimism,... is reality. Reality is, the best team won and we were outclassed in every way possible...top to bottom. That's why we lost. It was a team loss. We DO have much to look forward to...but the caveat is 3 fold. Change must happen offensively(scheme)..fresh ideas. However that gets achieved,so be it,Im on board. Secondly, on the player front, can we all agree Connor Williams isn't the answer at LG? Its pretty obvious. He needs time to mature and work on some things. LASTLY, MUST go get a DT wide body that's been proven,by any means. Wouldn't hurt to add Earl Thomas and demote Heath. Just sayin, we got exposed at safety.

Nothings changed for over 2 decades. Garrett is just a product of the dysfunctional organization. We suked before and will after. This is about as good as it gets with Jerryball.

Why didn’t the Cowboys win one playoff game in 2016 as the # 1 seed?

honestly who cares about winning the division when you can never capitalize beyond that? This was the typical outcome. Beat a rebuilding Seahawks and lose to a dam good team who basically passed them by in a much smaller time frame. As long as Garretts here the season ends with yet another disappointment and he will certainly be out coached at some point. Sad that not even the owner wants to raise the bar for his football team.

We were 1 seed 2 years ago got out coached and lost. Btw we were the only one and done in like 10 years of 1 seeds. Just embarrassing statistics and it’s a Garrett MO

It's like this.

He is a billionaire.

That is job #1.

Next is owner of the team

Next is GM..

Winning is a distant 4th.

It's hard to accept as a long time fan.

But even fans have to change with the times

All true and with that being said the OP has a legitimate gripe.

We had the #1 seed and a bye in 2016. Same result.

That's not it.

Try again.

Too bad Jerry does not see it that way. Things will stay the same with the coaching staff unless someone retires or quits.
