I would look hard at Lorenzo Booker.Kid is mature way beyond his means and I really believe he has something to prove.Seems like a Reggie Bush or that little maggot the iggles have type running back.:D

I like Booker, too. Then Bush.

My plan..........to wake up. The only way I think he gets traded is in my dreams.

trade jones as he will be gone for nothing next year. package up or down, don't stay at 22. There isn't a whole lot of difference between 22 and 42. Get extra picks, save some money and manuever around to get a Buffalo type deal if a team falls in love with someone at 22.

Sign Jones to a new deal. If we trade Jones, that means we have to draft another RB. What makes everyone believe we can get a better back than what we already have? Jones averaged .3 yards per carry less than Stephen Jackson last year (behind first year starters for us in Kosier and Colombo and worthless Rivera for God's sake) and Jackson is who some in here think can walk on water. If we trade Jones, we weaken our runnning game by going with a unproven back to team up with MBIII.

I don't understand the displeasure cowboy fans have with JJ. I thought he played well last year all things considered. I remember several games wondering why the coaches never let him get into a rythm. It seemed like in a lot of games, he would get a few carries and then either sit or block. He still had 1000 sharing time and almost not playing toward the end of the season. Our run blocking should be improved which will give him more room to run and I am expecting JJ to have a better year than last. I also don't see anyone that we can get being better than him. Unless we somehow get Peterson or maybee Lynch. I don't think Turner will be better especially considering the compensation we would have to give SD. We need two backs and I don't want to see Barber as a starter or Thompson (or anyone else we can reasonably get) as the primary backup.

Just hope Peterson doesn't get injured as often as he did in college. Everything is bigger and faster in the NFL. And for certain players, college is the pinnacle of their athletic career, but that doesn't become apparent right off the bat.

It will be interesting to see how the draft goes.

Start Barber. But if that isn't feasable, sell the farm for AP. Which they're saying he's the best back to come out since LT. A risk I'd be very content wth us taking.

If we keep JuJo, my guess is he'll revert to his former running style and by the midpoint of the year he will have blown out some part of his body and be useless to us anyway. Parcells gave him 2 extra years, his career is over with by now if his running style wasn't changed, that part is easy to see. We sapped the most out of him that we're ever going to get, now it's time to move on. And move on in whichever manor that means, even if it means taking a step or two backwards. Worst case scenerio; We keep him and get to a crucial point in our season and his reckless running style slams him directly into a wall....our season into that same wall with him.
