If Jonathan Mingo makes the 53-man roster

Look I understand what you're saying and I agree to an extent but remember this Rico, it was nothing his first three years Miles Austin was even less than Rico his first three years, Sometimes guys I don't know you know that guy Sam Darnold he didn't do anything his first three years either now he's got a ring faster than Dak and he's not better than Dak but sometimes guys take a little while...

This league's not always an instant league help right now Malik Davis is on that path Took him a while he's starting to show a little bit enough to say you know what maybe he does belong in the NFL..

And I know this is going to sound a little crazy but I like to say this You know that the manster, He wasn't the master his first two years he played special teams he was in the wrong position They were deep at the position he should have been playing but year three that that's when he started showing out then he became just that..

I think in a league where the fans think they like are part of the team because social media the Internet and they over saturation of media and finally ESPN is trimming fat off their schedules and getting rid of a lot of people because they should,

I think you all forget because you think on a daily basis that you have all these analytics and you're seeing what you think you see that you forget that some dudes just take longer to figure it out and sometimes they end up being some pretty damn good players...
sorry, he has to have shown something. even a little. he has gotten worse over time. he has regressed. miles Austin improved each year, and exploded...mingo had average first season and regressed since. its obvious that he has trouble getting separation and he has been figured out. even last night, he was outperformed by two rookies and couple of other no names.

its just nothing there. time to move on. it was an absolute stupid trade to make.

and if you think he is ready and perhaps takes a little time, then he better explode this preseason and just wow us all....his first game was quite a meh.

not sure why people are enamoured with him. perhaps a wishful thinking of having struck gold....he is the 6th WR at best. and time to move on. we have CD, Pickens, Flournoy who has surpassed him. turpin brings more to the table. and seemingly this brown kid is got something mingo never had. what I see is a player who has trouble running routes, doesn't have suddenness in and out of breaks, can't get separation and tends to body catch a little.

Mingo had 2 catches on 2 targets for 20 yards.

He can't make himself play more snaps or throw the ball to himself.
its still meh...and he played some in the game and only was open enough to be targetted twice.

sorry, I am not impressed with Mingo. he has to totally kill it in preseason and be spactacular for me to change my mind, otherwise, he walks. its ok. he is not needed. and plus he is a FA next year. there is no upside in keeping a player in the last year of his contract with no upside who will be at best, at best 5th WR on the team and with Camden playing like he has, he maybe the 6th WR.

what is the fascination with Mingo? lots of people are coming to his defense. is he this preseasons darling?

He has a realistic chance of making the team.

geez, are you always this uptight!!!! and literal!!! you missed the forest because of the trees

no, he is measured by his production. in three years in the league he has had
610 yards, 61 receptions, 0 TDs in 38 games....that's awful for a 2nd round pick.

and yes, part of his job is to catch a few TDs.... you noticed I said ZERO tds. ZERO as non, nada, nothing, never seen the endzone...how is that even possible.

his best year was his rookie year and he has gotten worse ever since. there is zero upside to mingo. if he is the 6th WR then might as well invest in a younger kid with some upside.
You are the one that is uptight.
I am perfectly fine.

I mean you missed the forest because of the trees....of everything I said about Mingo, all you focued on was...huuhh...daahh, is TDs the only way to measure production!!!!

seriously dude.
That was what you posted. That was your main concern.
Seriously.
