I don't think we make any more trades, but if the running game continues to struggle I might see if we can swap Leary for someone like Lamar Miller. The dolphins aren't making the playoffs most likely, and Jay Ajayi should be returning around the time of the deadline. I doubt anything major like this happens though.

no way. depth is a good thing in this league

So are draft picks. Id rather have a draft pick then a guy on the bench for the rest of the year and will either walk or become an expensive backup next year when we tender him

Barring a shocking disappointing performance from Collins, I believe he's the starter going forward.
The team will not trade Leary. That hasn't been their MO.

I doubt it, his value now isn't that high. If a team really wants him we control his rights and can deal him in the offseason.

I don't think anyone would want to trade for Leary

I am a business man, so I always listen to offers because I don't think trading is ever off the table for anyone if the price is right, but I highly doubt anyone wants him at this point. He's injured and got replaced by an UDFA. (doesn't matter if he was a first round grade but fell due to his scandal) I live with concrete facts and essientially an UDFA was replaced by another UDFA.

No, he is a RFA next year. Dallas can squeeze 2 years out of him for a modest price.

Yes, have him learn the C position as well. He will be the top back up at C and G next year. Berny is gone. This give us excellent depth at C and G.

Do you attempt to trade Leary before the deadline?

His value is super low right now. He is restricted in the off-season. He'll likely have more value then. Also, if anything happened to Collins or Martin, you don't want Bern starting. He was not good in the game where he rotated with Collins at LG.

With the modest price tag that we can bring Leary back under there is no way you trade him. Not now at least. I'd still tinker with moving Martin to tackle and Leary back to OG in the offseason

Whatever they can get for him now, they can get in the off-season. Wait until the off-season and they get the pick and get a quality backup for this season.

Not worth the low round pick or 2nd rate player we'd get in return. Even he's a backup, he's valuable.

I would put out feelers but unless im getting starting quality somewhere else then no. If I can get a starting calibre corner or safety or receiver yes
