...what if Jerry pulled the trigger? We've seen the highlights, but here he is at the combine:

I'd be down with Jerry drafting him. Thoughts?

Bit of a wild card but they all are. I’m not sure if Dak will end up being the franchise QB we go with but I’m not ready to give up on him yet, especially for another questionable QB who may or may not turn out to be a good to great QB. Pass.

I will tell you as far as college football goes, this dude was the best single player in college football for the past two years.
Yeah, so was Vince Young.

Playing QB in college and at the pro level is a whole different ball of wax. At present, Jackson doesn't possess the passing skills to play QB in the NFL. Taking him in the 1st would be beyond foolish.

I haven't seen anything from him that makes me feel he can be successful as a QB in the NFL ... so anything more than a late round flyer or UDFA, no thanks.
Athletes at QB don't work in the NFL. It's been tried so many times and has been proven not to work, and yet people still want to try it. Denial?

I would love it. If he is there at 19, that's an opportunity for us and we had best take advantage of it by trading down and picking up value.

That would be nice, but I just don't see teams falling all over themselves for him.

I really had only watched him with a passing interest throughout most of his career. But I did watch their bowl game against Mississippi State (I live in MS) and he did not impress against what honestly was not a very good team. Also, didn't he suck at combine? Unless I am really confused I thought his passes were all over the place.

Russell Wilson was an accomplished passer and extremely accurate coming out. What in the world makes you compare Wilson to Jackson? They're almost polar opposites.

Let me repeat that phrase. Unless he is the next Russell Wilson.

A lot of people on this board said the same thing about a certain QB that now plays in Houston and was breaking records weekly....

Cowboys aren't taking any QB in the 1st round...Jerry loves Dak, he's attached to him
