If looks could kill

I agree most QB did not become HOF QB at the start of their careers. It took a lot of work and dedication. Dak has things he needs to work on but I do see improvements in his game and think he will get better as long as he continue to dedicate himself

Exactly. I don't know why he gets branded "he's hit his ceiling". He's in his 3rd year. Simply getting more experience he will get better.

We better look to keep Cooper happy. Dak not hitting the deep balls are taking TDs away from a productive WR and he knows it. Did you see the look on his face after both times he was wide open and got missed badly? Need to work on deep ball Dakuracy in the off season methinks. The back shoulder when he should have thrown him into the inside was brutal.

That said I thought Dak was decent today. Couple of balls sailed, Cooper missed on two big ones, but Mrs. Beasley saved our (and Dak's) bacon at the end.
Yet some how over the past 2 games Dak's accuracy to Gallupp, 8Mile and TE's has miraculously appeared?
Amari's beef is with Linehan's old testament playbook.
Cooper's success came when He and Dak changed plays after recognizing coverages and getting No adjustment from Linehan.

Wrs with Amari's Pedigree and production frequently need attention...prima dona and self comes with position. Great coaches know how to balance both..Linehan is on for a ride.

Yeah todays game for me said a lot about Dak. With a make shift OL along with Zeke being out this game could have gotten real ugly as many of these late season games tend to be when nothing is on the line. Yet Dak went out and for the most part carried this offense. There was no run game today but I don't think the plan was to run it 30 plus times. I think the staff wanted to focus on this passing game and Dak stood up to the challenge

Yeah and it was clear the Giants wanted that game. This is exactly what we needed to see from Dak. How he responds with Zeke out and his offensive line out.

I agree. I was glad defense held the Giants to 3 after the fumble by Cooper. It kept the game to a TD difference and with a little over 2 min with no timeouts it put the game in Daks hands and he was able to get it done. Unlike a couple of other games where he and Cooper connected for big games this was done by players people have been critical of guys like Beasley, Jarwin and Hurns. Dak was able to hit 8 different WR/TE in the game. The one things I wanted heading into this game was a chance to work on the passing attack and I think they come out of this feeling a bit better about it

Coop is mental. He's a closet diva. He should be the focal point of the passing game and will be in the playoffs but if the ball isn't coming his way, he needs to stay engaged.

So he's an NFL wide receiver?

Yeah, and sometimes a guy just sucks at certain things. You heard Aikman say you have it or you don’t. So when are we going to blame dak for being dak? Has anyone outside of certain fans named the QB coach?

Aikman has said all kinds of things about Dak

"I love Dak,'' Aikman tells me. "I will say positive things about him and his future because I believe in him and I believe in his commitment to winning.''

And I don't deny that. That's actually what I'm eluding to. Kellen Moore is the "QB Coach" but I'd be shocked if Garrett isn't the true QB coach here. He has a team to run of course but he's taking part in Dak's development. Now how good of a QB developer he is remains to be seen.
Heresy. .......

To be Honest I have seen that look the last few games with Cooper. Dak since Indy really hasnt went Cooper way for some reason. Up till yesterday he has been averaging 4 catches in the last two games. Just dont understand how you dont go to your #1 WR. Yes Cooper has been getting some double teams but there has been many times he had single coverage with no safety and Dak didnt look his way. On the Hurns TD yesterday if you watch Cooper points to Hurns to let Dak know he is open.
I would think that a QB first look would be to his # 1 WR or when a play breaks down look to him.

Cooper is just different then most WR even his playing days at Ala he was like this. I think some of you are judging him a little unfair. It wasnt but a few weeks ago he was the
Savior

The job of the TV cameras is to catch the emotion of the player. Cooper was a frustrated WR yesterday who dropped a few and than the QB overthrows a few, they captured his frustration. He should be frustrated, IDK a competitive person who wouldn't be.

I could tell Cooper was just frustrated the entire game, but I think it was just more of his competitive spirit and him being hard on himself. There was one play in particular on third down where he got stopped short of the sticks. I could see that he was visibly agitated that he wasn't able to convert.
