If Milton gets a real chance to play with Eagles this could get good!

I have watched alot of Qb player over the years and personally even though he was far from perfect I saw great upside with Milton in the preseason... I'm out on Dak because I have seen enough of his deer in the headlights and his inability to have what I consider Elite Qb composer... Having said that, If Milton does indeed get chance with Philly and does great, I believe that may be the total nail in the coffin for me as a fan. Each and every year my enthusiasm lessens.

If you were like me and liked what you saw from Milton and wanted to see him get a real chance, how would you feel if Milton became a star in Philly? Hypothetically that is??? I would be happy for Joe quite honestly, but I'm sure Jerrah would spin it on how much he loves him some Dak and happy for Milton, YADA YADA...
How could it be good?

I think you can rest easy. Your fandom is secure.

Joe Milton is never going to be Cam Newton and will never replace Jalen Hurts.

Jaydon Blue will never be Tony Dorsett.

it’s fun because it’s like imagining what you would do if you won the lottery.

Then you check your ticket and you matched one number and the player is on someone’s practice squad and then out of the league.

I can't call myself an expert on any level but I can't help but think I know a special QB when I see one, and Joe really has something. I don't know if he can be a reliable starter in the NFL but I think he has a lot of ability and the jump I saw him take from last season is huge. What I'm saying is I think it was a mistake not holding onto him.
Again, we were the only team that showed any interest in Joe out of 31 teams. Only reason the Iggles brought him in is for playbook knowledge / tendencies, and perhaps a warm body as Hurts is on IR.

We’ve made much lesser QBs than Milton look like all pros and perfect qb ratings

Delusional post of the year. Dude literally cleared waivers and you wanted him to start over Dak. Imagine thinking you're smarter than 32 other NFL front offices :lmao:

I don’t even know how this dude can get the offense this quickly. It took him an entire year here to get it

Usually the only thing i would be concerned with Bazooka Joe is his legs rather than his arm. But in this case going up against a horrific pass defense, he may be dangerous. It would be interesting to see how he does.

Say it as many times as you want. Knock yourself out. I admitted I'm not an expert so it's not like I'm guaranteeing he's gonna be great.

Milton seems to be hit and miss at this point in his career. He may look like gangbusters if he starts against our defense then look like he doesn't even belong in the NFL. I would have preferred that we kept him, but I'd be surprised if the Eagles could do better than .500 with him, even with the defense that they have.

Oh boy not this again. So we release him and no one picks him up. Makes it to our practice squad and weeks finally gets picked up…

You guys can’t be serious lol.

I don't think Milton is good is the issue but the Eagles made Jalen Hurts look good so it wouldn't surprise me to see Milton have a little success.
That is possible. It's always about the team. Multiple QBs have won who were not as good as the last two we've had.

So you will be out as a fan because a third string practice squad player does well for Philly? Man this fanbase is out of it.

I certainly thought Milton was worth keeping around for couple of years and see if the cowboys can develop him to be a legit NFL QB.
On the other hand we’re asking the Dallas Freak’n Cowboys to develop a raw talented player…so just as well that he left….

He's got a good chance to have the best game he'll ever have against the Cowboys. We make QB dreams come true so often.

all of you crying about Milton realize no one else signed him either that's why he ended up on the practice squad
And I doubt the Eagles want to start him, especially only a couple of games after him getting their playbook. It isn't like he's shown himself to be a fast learner. If Milton is starting for them two weeks after they acquired him, something went terribly wrong.
