My whole point revolves around Hardy. If you don't get him, you're stuck. You failed to address your team's biggest weakness - pass rush. Don't bother paying the Morgans or Clayborns for a measly 6 sacks. You can get that from a rookie for much cheaper. But you still haven't truly fixed your pass rush problem either way.

That's what I'm saying as well. There aren't any difference makers out there outside of Hardy and he is a question mark because the commish still could come down on him. Outside of Seattle there isn't an all world defense in this league so you do the best with what you have and build thru the draft from there.

I'm just not quite as patient as you are. I think that if you don't accelerate the process at some point, you fix one hole just in time for another to spring up.

None of us are patient but I'm looking at it realistically. There aren't any impact players out there besides Hardy. Teams right now are scared to touch Hardy because of his off the field problems and not knowing what the commissioner will do with him.

The Cowboys would like to have Harvey too, but if you think we should pay top dollar just to have him on paper, you're crazy. He's the most important guy to slow play and low ball. If we sign him to big money, he's one little mistake from suspension. We have to be careful with Hardy negotiations, if it ever gets to that point.
