While watching the draft and seeing the Cowboys select a kicker, I to was saying "what the hell". But now after a week of reading the reports and reflecting on how awful our kick-offs really were, I think we made the right choice with that pick.

If you could do a do-over, who would you pick instead of Buehler? Can't trade the pick, since it was a compensatory.

It was a comp pick and I think they viewed it as a luxury. They didn't care if they reached. They targeted Beuhler at that spot to help improve special teams and they stuck with their plan.

When you look at the names taken between Beuhler and Stephen Hodge, I don't see anyone I'd rather have than Beuhler so that makes it a great pick. If they took Mickens there, or even that FA WR Olgletree, I don't think any of us would have had a problem. Well, we now have all three so it worked out fine in may book.
