If not Earl Thomas, who at safety?

This isn't another ET thread, but the opposite. Who does Dallas need to be targeting to play safety - they obviously have a need if Ha Ha is playing second team and a rookie CB with very little safety experience in college is being experimented with.

They can say they like the team as is, but actions speak louder than words. Is there anyone on the street (besides Thomas) who would constitute an upgrade?

I'm starting to think it's going to be ET ( maybe a 1-year prove-it deal).......they won't shut it down. Besides if they had an interest in any other player on the street, he'd be here already.

I believe Daryl Worley is a 6-1, 204-lb. CB who has safety flex experience. Reputedly pretty good, too!

Worth a try?! He's a 4-year vet, whereas, Reggie Robinson is just a rookie, as yet. Anything's possible.

I fully realize that the Cowboys are planning on utilizing Worley as a CB but he has had FS experience.

TBD on the practice field with current personnel. We have capable players to play safety, some are just not currently filling that role.

Tony. Jefferson.

And what's his status, as far as the Cowboys are concerned? Free agent from the Ravens, right?

How expensive would he likely be for us? If it's more than five or six million, best of luck with that!

Thompson. Apparently the staff is impressed with him.

Do not ask questions, we are still in the honeymoon period.
