While we are all sitting here in disgust at todays outcome, the call for Parcells head on a platter has come up....Ok, he is fired, then who.......Parcells in 3 years has turned us from a joke to a winning team......ok, we have folded it seems this year, playoffs evaporating...but a very young core of Defensive guys (Ware, Burnett, Spears Canty, TNew and Roy) slowly building, yet building.....who do we go get if we get rid of Parcells.....

He has my confidence, at least thru next year before I re evaluate...

I wonder who is the OC in San Diego? He's done a pretty good job there putting his unit together and reviving Drew Brees - maybe he could come here and do the same starting with Henson (or other QB of his choice), Jones/Barber and Witten?

I think we missed the ball here, though - the guy to bring in was Nick Saban. Fiery young coach, great teacher with NFL experience who turned a program in decline into perennial contenders. That was the guy I really wanted.

If you could somehow talk Charlie Weiss into leaving ND, that would be the guy but that is never going to happen.
