If our GM is smart, he'll use these talking points with Micah in 2025

Yes, lads, gentry and frustrated fans, we saw Micah Parsons go down with a high-ankle sprain, and from what I perceive from me group home brain trust, Micah, at a minimum, is out 2 more games.

Before I go further, let me express me gratitude to Micah for not being greedy and put his armored car heist a season away to 2025. And to Yoda, who wisely kicked that fan down the road.
This is how to give Micah an equitable payout while considering these facts and perceptions.

1. Micah, the consensus belief is you've plateaued as a DE. Teams have figured you out.
2. Micah, who in 2023 scratched and clawed his way to 14 sacks, can't possibly reach anywhere near that with his average start to this season and then his injury.
3. Yoda should explain that, going forward, the Boys are taking a chance on Parsons because of his recovery and his perceived plateauing. He and Myles Garrett tied at 14 sacks in 2023. Right now Garrett has 4 sacks. Parsons has 1 and is rehabbing.

Lads, Parsons has longed for oil money such as Garrett's $25 million average salary.
Parsons, if Yoda is cautious, should be offered quail money at $18 mil a year. He's good but not astronomically so.

Would you agree, bland men? $18 mil?

If you were GM, what would you offer?
You're killing this great post with this Yoda/lads jibberish!!! I'm not sure he'll even settle for that, fans in here will feel the same. I don't think at this point he's to be the next highest paid non-qb. #1 is probably the most important

After watching watts, and seeing how much he impacts the game, not only as a rusher but as a run stopper as well, Parson isn't in the same league, good player but not a constant impact player and definitely not worth being paid like the best defensive player in the NFL, we've already made that mistake with Dak.
Brace yourself: BEST POST OF YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've been saying this since last year, he doesn't in anyway have the impact that Watt does on games, what he gets a sack in the games, ok who can't do that? What else does he do, Watt BRINGS IT, and he's relentless. Watt needs to go back to the Steelers and ask to be the top paid guy

But our GM will want to have the "best" (i.e. highest paid) offensive and defensive players in the NFL. Great for marketing and his ego. So expect Parsons to be over paid.
it was evident with Dak, let's play it out and act like we're not going to sign him, say bad things about him, make him look bad, talk about more leaves etc, then BAM richest deal ever!!!!! We're not fooled anymore jerry

Yep, since when have they won a negotiation with any big contract player? They are the ones who usually get fleeced and give away the farm. Technically, we don’t have a GM.
I mean, what owner does "win" negotiations?

Players have all the leverage, and they are exercising it all over the league.

Where was Watt in the 4th quarter, when two of the Cowboys last three drives were 70- and 90-yard touchdown drives?

You people are delusional.

Parsons is a god tier physical specimen. He just shows up and can impact the game without really even trying or preparing. This is a blessing but it is also a curse. His desire will falter. IMHO it already has. His physical gifts will decline. IMHO they already have. Given a massive amount of guaranteed money the decline will not reverse trend. It will accelerate. Parsons exhibits almost every red flag you could ever hope for. If we ignore them and it does not work out we have no one to blame but ourselves.

Our GM’s game plan is anything but intelligent; he’s guaranteed to overpay right at the deadline! The money’s not the problem; it’s the fact that he waits until the last possible second like it’s some sport. Jerry’s got more titles than a B-movie villain: CEO = Chief Excuses Officer, CIO = Chief Incompetence Officer, COO = Chief Overwhelmed Officer, CTO = Chief Troubleshooter Officer, CMO = Chief Miscommunication Officer, and of course, GM = Gridiron Mismanager. He’s collected all these fancy titles but isn’t good at them. It’s like he’s turned the Cowboys into the "Stellantis" of football: chaos under the hood, and no one's sure how it’s still running!

Just can't figure why the Board is always in the players' pockets. It's so funny how the love disappears as the rookie contract winds down.
