does Zimmer stay/go?

I mean if Parcells goes, then I believe Zimmer goes also. But, what if Parcells stays? Do you think that there would be anyway that Zimmer stays?:

I believe that one way or the other, the Cowboys will have a new DC next year. I just can't see Zimmer returning to run the 3-4.

What's it going to be then, eh?

They would have to draw up a new contract for him to stay.

I don't think there is any way anyone could justify doing that based on how the defense has played this year.

We ran more of the beloved 4-3 and the results were incredibly bad.

How exactly did the 3-4 die by chance?

SD seems to run the 3-4 just fine.

The Pats won 3 Superbowls with it.....Pittsburgh won a SB with it.

The key is to get a coordinator that knows how to run it.

That wasn't a true 4-3 we ran but yesterday, but if we did resort back to the 4-3, that would be fine by me.

the 4-3 did what it was supposed to do, create pressure. is it the front 4's fault that the cb's cant cover for 3 lousey seconds?

I didn't see Ware line up as a down de very often so I agree it wasn't a true 4-3

I saw him in a 2 pt stance for the majority of the game. That is not lining up as a de.

Maybe we need a coach that will let the Coordinators do their job, not hold them back by trying to control every move.

maybe we should get rid of Zimmer.

Many of you have short memories, remember Zimmer's great 4-3 scheme when Campo was head coach that allowed more 200 yard rushers in a game in the history of the NFL?

Remember Zimmer farse ranked #1 D, that got torched by Carolina as soon as a team finally decided to challege us downfield? Then the next year everyone exposed his great 4-3 the same way Carolina did?

Zimmer has to go

I have been saying that all week. 2003 was the exception not the norm.

I am all for getting rid of Zimmer (and Parcells), but if Parcells stays he isn't going to let the coordinator have a free reign to run the D.

3-4 or 4-3 it doesn't matter. GROZ lives.

Has anyone started GROP? (Parcells)

If not, label me CEO/President.

Juke is GM.
