agreed... let barber wear them down and then stick julius in there when they're tired for the big play. It seems more logical to do it that way since barber is a pounder and julius isn't the type of back that can really wear down a defense.

Barber is a freaking beast. I think BP sees what a good thing he has going right now with Barber being the more "hungry" back. I doubt we see a swap in favor of Barber this year, but I bet Barber is the starter next year from day one.

i don't think bill will change them. jones had 100 yds in the first eagles game and they are'nt good against the run. we will run alot and use both but bill wants mb3 fresh in the second half . i expect we will do what we've been doing, run jones early and if he's on he will get more carries, if not we will go to mb3.barber may get 18-20 carries in this game as we need to run alot

I'd like to see him start a game. The first posession or 2 at least.. you can always go back to Jones if you like for awhile.

But I'd like to see us be able to establish a running game early on and see what happens. See how the defense reacts. We're not establishing anything with JJ early on.. cept some 3rd and longer than they need to be's. Maybe that would be the case with MB too if you tried that.. but theres only one way to find out.

I know if I was defending us I wouldnt even bother putting 8 in the box when JJ was in the game. Not when you know that if any 1 defender gets an arm on him he's going down.
