buzz is already starting about the possibilty of having Eli and Peyton in the same division which would be music to Roger Goodell's ears...
...and we know Danny always likes to make a grand splash in free agency
regardless of the salary cap

The NFC East next year is going to be 'sick'....the last place finisher could probably beat any other team in the league

He'll have a lot better options than the Skins. Not going to happen.

That is a very scary thought. The Commanders already have a tough defense and having Peyton there would motivate the hell out of that team. A decent receiver or 2 and a little help on the offensive line and they would be tough.

I'm hoping like hell he goes to Miami or the Jets. Keep him out of our division!

the only place that makes sense for peyton to go anywhere is on contending or near contending team with a spare QB.

49ers
Jets
Texans
Broncos
Seahawks

I dont think that peyton is gonna play again in the NFL. I think if his neck hasnt recovered already ... i dont think it ever will.

If the Texans wanted to get rid of Schaub, it would be a great fit for him. Great team, great oline and he would get to play the Colts twice a year.

I think Peyton has some standards so that leaves out the Skins.

I'm not concerned what the skins do. Cowboys just need to take care of their business.

Depending on how much cap money they have, I could easily see Snyder doing the 'two-fer' and bringing in Manning and Wayne in a package deal.

It would instantly make he and the Commanders relevant again.

I think the best place for him to land would be Baltimore.

*Flacco is an average QB, and the weak link on the team.
*The team has been consistently good, unlike San Fran which could be a fluke.
*Leaves open the possibility of a All-Manning Super Bowl.
*There'd be something symmetrical about Peyton winning a Super Bowl for the City of Unitas, since he's already won one for the Team of Unitas.

Flacco is like Sanchez. It doesn't matter how mediocre (or bad in Sanchez's case) they are. They will be the starters for the foreseeable future.

Peyton doesn't need the money. Not to say that he won't take a ridiculous offer, but I think he could get a ridiculous offer from a host of teams that are in better position to win the Super Bowl.

I dont think Ozzie Newsome is dumb enough to give up on a QB that has gone to the playoffs all 4 years he has been in the league. Newsome looks long term ... not quick fix.

Honestly......I see Manning retired from injury, but if he can play and is let go, then I think the best place for him, and a team that will be interested in him (at least it seems they would) would be Arizona......Good coach, Good young defense...and the best WR ion the game. The weather is great too. I think that makes the most sense to me, and last time Arizona went and grabbed a vet (Hall of Fame) QB it was Warner and it worked out great for them......they absolutely can and will juts scrap that Kolb experiment....hahaha

Exactly.

Unfortunately we have too many fans that only care about quick fix.

Plus I doubt he'll play in the same division as his brother.

Anyone hear Schlereth this morning say he knew Linebackers that had this very same injury and they came back and played with no problems?

Plus Manning is one of the best at not getting hit. I think he plays next season.

Linebackers don't have to scan the field.
