then I would be against this signing for any Price... (pun intended)

Obviously can see what Crayton brings, and his potential....
Bringing Price in to be a #3 would sit Pat on the bench....

The best player will play, if Crayton is good enough, he'll beat out Price and whoever and earn his spot, like he should.

I am officially on Patrick Craytons bangwagon. I've been skeptical of his early pre season performance's. I thought he'd fade in and out, but he's consistent as they come, imo. I love Crayton, and couldn't care less if Price is signed. I think Crayton will be better than Price.

I don't think Price would push Crayton to number 4 immediately. He's not familiar with the system and Crayton is playing well. If Price could eventually move past Crayton on the depth chart it would mean he's playing well, but I personally have my doubts. I don't think he'll get beyond 4th WR unless someone gets hurt.

For me you nailed the problem. You said Crayton if good enough will beat out Price.

I think Price should have to beat out Crayton. I am pretty sure though if Dallas signs him the #3 slot will be given at least temporarily to Price.

I dont like that, but that is just me probably.

i say move Glenn to #4 and make Price r Crayton #2...Price just cant handle #1 CBs. that is way he didnt do good in Atlanta (along with having a QB that is like a RB)

I seriously wouldnt be suprised to see Crayton be the legitimate #2 by the end of the season...wether Price is brought in or not.

Then Price is a very very good WR to displace Crayton. We need Price here for depth. Plus that's another different matchup for a D to beat.

Morgan a catch. We have five true good WRs. Doesn't get any better unless you are the Raiders.

Well...I think most teams would consider us having 5 WRs who are #2 or less quality recievers.

We still need to get a long term clear cut #1 reciever.

Glenn is a number one WR. You may disagree but he is a problem for defenses. He just needs to stay healthy. Having some other WRs to spell him some should help his injury problem some. I firmly believe players overused are at higher risk from overuse and fatigue.

If you think we need a more talented WR than Glenn I would agree as I don't think he is currently a top ten WR or elite WR. Just very close. JMO.

I would take a number one QB if possible this next draft. If that doesn't work out then I'd go for a WR. If that's a stretch to then just best player available looking at OLB, S, CB, OL in no particular order.

A little high here so hope this makes sense.

ummm....I like Crayton too, but why would anyone be against having better players? The best guys play on this team, supposedly, so if it makes us better, I wouldn't care if someone sat JJ or Roy on the bench...lol. It's all about improving your team...period.

don't invest in price. glenn, key, crayton, morgan, and copper make a good corp of WRs.

To the victor goes the spoils.

If Crayton is going to be great then Price can't keep him on the bench forever. And if he (Price) does, then the best 3 play.

What I'll be looking for if we do sign Price is Claytons reaction, his attitude. If he starts pouting and sulking then he be what he'll always be, a back up. However, if he can see this for what it is, an opportunity and still climb into the 3rd (or even 2nd) WR spot then he will forever endear himself, and most importantly earn the respect of B.P. and the Cowboys organization.

Personally I think all this 3 or 4 WR get carried away, if Price is signed he will get his oppertunities but so will Crayton it is not that uncommon for teams to rotate WR in and out of the game if you have the talent to do it and I think this group of WR will allow Bill to use different combo of WR sets

I tend to agree with you for the most part jobberone. I too think that Glenn is as good as any #1 WR in the league (when healthy). As a matter of fact, other than nagging injuries, Glenn should be up there with M. Harrison, and T. Holt.

However, WR's with a stature and build simular (or smaller) to Glenn have been able to stay healthy in their careers.

Henry Ellard , W. Slaughter, A. Freeman, I. Bruce, and A. Rison.

I had to put Rison in there because as much as I hope it doesn't happen, I think that T. Glenn will end up being very much like A. Rison. Not for what Glenn has done off the field, which wasn't much, but how much talent he and Rison left on the field.

Both I think could have been H.O.F. material, but I'm afraid they won't.

...and it won't because those in the H.O.F. were better.
