If Quinn falls to us...

If we could get the Bears two picks... I think they have 31 and 37... I make that trade in a heartbeat too.

Yes, I would too. But they have Grossman. They are set.

The more and more I think about it the more and more I hope we trade down and get more picks if Quinn falls to us. I'm not sure if Quinn is an NFL QB.

They may, but I would rather have someone like the Lions or Cleveland make a push more than the Bears 'cause they will likely pick a lot higher than the Bears.

My understanding is that they aren't sold on him.

Your understanding is correct.

The Packers have little faith in Rodgers, he was terrible in training camp, and in preseason games and, when given a chance in games, terrible in game situations.

They were looking to package him in up in a trade deal earlier this year, and even though they deny this, I think it's true.

But there's a chance that taking a guy just because he's everyone's best player left may hurt GB especially when they have a Brett Farve who may never retire.

Green Bay still needs a lot more then a QB.

It depends on where he was on your board.

If you had him rated in the Top 10... like most teams did... IMO you don't change your board just because he's slipping in the draft. Teams picking now just don't have the need. So the BPA + need = who you take. If we're the next team that decides he's the BPA and fits a need, IMO we should take him.

I agree with you.

They need a RB most, then a TE, then WR.

The so-called best RB's are off the board, and Olson is the so-called best TE.

I think the Packers pick either Olson or any of the top WR's left.

Their defense is pretty well set so I bet they go offense.

If Cleveland was willing to pass on him, why would they give up next year's first and multiple other picks for him? Don't get me wrong, I'd love it if Dallas were able to steal such a gem as a top 5 pick next year, but the goal of other teams is not to make sacrificial trades for the Cowboys benefit.

If Cleveland like Quinn, but thought more of Joe Thomas....why wouldn't they make the trade? If you can get a top QB prospect at #22 I think you would be making a solid football move by coupling the number one tackle and number two QB in the same draft.

No Quinn for GB. Dream lives on...

Just checking in... I was absolutely wrong... you were right. And I'm thrilled with the trade down.
