At what point in the draft if Robinson falls, do we start making phone calls to move up??

I think there’s a value point that you have to have but I would really like to have Robinson. And I wouldn’t want to touch the second or third round to trade up.

GUYS GUYS CALM DOWN, it's my fault, I don't mean going too far up like in the teens, I'm saying if it gets to the 20s, and you move up to get him. That's not costing you too much. Give them a 5th rounder or add a player

Even if he gets to #20 and you try and trade up most trade value charts have that jump costing you your 3rd rounder.

Maybe if it's a pick or two you move up I could live with it, but my opinion is that I wouldn't take a deal for a RB at all TBH. No issue taking him in the first, but I'm also completely content with taking OL, TE, WR, DL at that spot too and taking a RB later on.

I wouldn't trade up for a 1st round RB with a life expectancy of 5 years max. Jerry on the other hand ??? I think if he is BPA when you draft, take him.

You folks are willing to count on Pollard? He broke his leg. How long did it take for Dak to fully return from a similar injury? How about twice Gallup has injured a leg and it takes him two seasons to get back to norm. And I assume he will be back to norm this season.

This ridiculous don't take a RB in the first is just that. Ridiculous.

First off, you have the guy for five years if you opt for the last year. He is still on a rookie contract.

Second, this team needs balance on offense. I cannot stress this enough that what you saw at the end of the season was strictly due to an inequity in Offense and Defense.
Regardless of your position on Dak, the hand has to be played. There is no dumping him without starting the rebuild immediately. Everything that has gotten this team two straight seasons of 12 wins each would be tossed on the funeral pyre.

Dak needs a better offensive line to compete. When he stays upright he can be very effective. This means you need a solid running game and passing game without protection issues and lanes opened.

I don't believe Robinson will get to 20. But if he did, I would seriously need to think on the cost versus return.

One more point about Robinson. This guy isn't Zeke mentally. Because of the NIL rules, he has started businesses which yield him almost 1.6 million a year.
Bijon's Mustard is one of the companies. This is not a guy who wears a half shirt with a suit, or has an issue (and I believe he was innocent) which causes the league to sit him down with no evidence for six games. This is a focused young man.

However saying this, I suspect Jerry will draft some JAG and think Malik Davis will be good enough with a wounded Pollard. Because Jethro and Little Anus can't seem to focus on both sides of the ball when building a team in the same year.

And with that attitude they display, this will end up more of the same we have seen for going on 30 years.

I really do believe Robinson is in play, this franchise loves the running back position. Think Tampa is his landing spot and they may jump ahead of them to land him. Don't like to trade draft capital, especially for a running back, but he has the Cowboys desires. Think most of us will be happy when he goes way ahead of us.

If you want a first round running back, just sit there and take Gibbs. He’s ultra talented as well.

Of course we do. The Bijan Mustard deal + Cowboys branding will be unstoppable in the condiments industry

I remember this one time, when Dallas drafted a RB in the 1st round and some fans stroked out over it. Now that it's even a suggestion is concerning.
The only way I would ever draft a RB in the early rounds if it's the last piece.

I would not move up for Robinson. Get one of the other backs after the 1st round. Better deal and just as good.
