Do we still take the cap hit? Because someone, somewhere will pick him up if we let him go. Just asking.
Yes, it's called a contract and they are binding.starfrombirth;1935787 said:Do we still take the cap hit? Because someone, somewhere will pick him up if we let him go. Just asking.

I don't. In fact I see his playing time diminishing. Hopefully I'm wrong.HardHittingRoy31;1935794 said:He does however needs to improve because 08' could be his last. I have confidence that Campo will bring him back to form.
starfrombirth;1935824 said:Well, obviously, he won't get cut because of the cap numbers. I was just wondering if there was any way to cover our backsides. I think even the strongest Roy supporters will agree that he hasn't lived up to his billing the last couple of years. YES, I know, other safeties get beat too but Roy is being paid because he WAS a great hitter and tackler. He is no longer either of those things. He used to get interceptions because the receiver across the middle would adjust his route away from Roy now they are intentionally attacking him. That's not good when receivers are looking up our "best" hitter.
Give him a biscuit.TheCount;1935809 said:Cause he's too skinny to play LB.

HardHittingRoy31;1935794 said:First he won't be cut! Second there is a cap hit of 720,000 this year and 3M in 09'.
