If Sean Payton comes to Dallas

Once NFL and Don Yee agree to conditions, Saints and Payton are expected to commence discussions about contract extension, per NFL source.

Darn it. Someone needs to slip Don Yee a micky and put him on a slow boat to Russia

I figured the nfl will allow to resign now if he would like to with n.o. Here's hoping he still wants to ride it out until after the Super Bowl *fingers crossed*

Weeping, wailing, and gnashing of teeth in 5 seconds, clothes rent asunder in 10 seconds...

5...4...3...2...1...

Means nothing. My bet is he will wait to sign after his options are all uncovered. After the season. He's out 6million plus more, and about to go through a divorce. His mentor is Parcells, and we all know he is telling him how to play this to get the most money.

Hos you shouldn't be happy about this, if we don't get Payton that means another coach such as Holmgren, etc.

It's extremely sad to me people do not want the team they spend all this time all year following to get better.

Sean Payton is a shot of adrenaline that can not be matched by anyone else.

He would re-energize the players, the fans, the city....all at once. One signature on paper and everything is pointing back up.

Sad. The point of all this is to win, not to protect heroes you have created to pump your Internet personna.

This team needs to win.

I couldn't have said it better myself.

Don't be surprised if it happens either. This city will go crazy again and JJ will look like a hero.

Come on, bro! Just stop it...stop it. Payton is not coming to Dallas.

You are better than this.

Maybe not.

That saddens me. It would fix a number of the little things currently wrong here.

Then next year when we get to gameday he would fix the other thing that is poor here.

He is the one coach the fans and the media here love. He would unite everyone.

Parcells didn't even do that, a lot of the fans here and the media here didn't like him because he was from the northeast.

Payton would have everyone in his corner. That kind of thing makes everything better.

If he signs that contract soon, it will be a real bummer for me. Even more than what we are most likely about to watch over the next five games.

Galloway just said earlier that the University of Texas is interested in Payton as well as the Cowboys.

Don't you get it, it's kinda like Jerry, some here want to win their way or no way at all.

If you are happy that Sean Payton is signing back with N.O. rather than possibly coming to the Cowboys then you need to check you fan card at the door. :bang2:

I feel your pain, but, be honest with yourself. Payton will not be the next HC of the Cowboys.

Going to be some sad fans on here if Payton returns to New Orleans

Until he signs that contract I am holding out hope.

And if you think Payton is coming to Dallas, no wonder you think like that. You bang your head to much.

How many times do I have to speak to you about all your negativity?

Huh? How many? Times?

Ok, then who will be?

The rule is a complete joke to begin with. Who is the NFL to say what a "serious" consideration is? They can't tell a team they weren't serious.
Before the rule, the NFL coaches were all white except Dennis Green. Today?

It is extremely sad to me that people think we don't have coaches and players capable of becoming better and winning. I guess this works both ways.
