Long ago, I moved to the apathetic side of NFL fandom. I feel that I have an advantage, in this discussion, because I don't care who picks who. Having wrote that, The old school Cowboy fan in me still likes to see the Cowboys beat Washington and Philly and, in order to do that, I have to hope that Jerry and little Jerry make the right 1st pick this year, which is a RB, preferably Derrick Henry.

According to the current draft order provided by AmLegend, the Titans are sitting on #1 and their remaining schedule looks like they have only one chance to win. There goes one RB because the Titan rushing attack sucks. Up next is the Chargers at #2. Their remaining schedule has, at best, 1-2 written all over it. Offensively, they could use a RB but their defence is really bad. I would trade down, get an extra pick, and pick a defensive guy. At #3 is Cleveland. Cleveland's defence is bad and their last three games are brutal, so 0-3. Whether they pick a QB or other depends on what Manziel shows over the remaining 3 games. If he craters, then off to Dallas he goes,Jerry needs a party buddy, and they pick a QB or trade down and then pick a QB. But , if he shows something, then they pick Defense or trade down and then pick defense. San Francisco sits at #4 and their last 3 games looks like 0-3 or 1-2. They need defense more than a QB or RB especially since Gabbert may be showing some ability. Detroit sits at #5, just in front of the cowboys. They could go 2-1 0ver the last 3 games. This is where another RB could go off the table since their rushing is last in the league. Now we come to Dallas. Dallas looks like 1-2 or 0-3. Dallas needs a QB, to groom, to replace Romo, but the top 2 RBs in this years draft are probably better picks than the QBs that are coming out. If Elliot or Henry is available, then I would go RB in the first round. If they are gone, then QB or trade down and then QB.

But, then again, I really don't care.

Imagine your delight when you find out that nobody in the top 10 wants to spend that pick on a RB.

If Jerry was wise, we wouldn't win another game this season. Just cut your losses and start Kellen Moore the rest of the way. But I'm sure we'll at least win one or two more meaningless games and drop a few spots in the draft.

I don't know. We always have a chance against the Skins, but the Jets are a far better team and playing the Bills and Rex's defense in Buffalo....ugh.

I'm reading conflicting things. Some say we're at #7 right now and I just read that we're #4 according to BTB.

But we still have a chance to make the playoffs so we could be picking any where from 21-32.lol

Read my post "Our Current Draft Position (7th)".

BTB and other outlets are reporting our current SOS (as in our SOS through 13 games). I take into account the records of all 16 teams each team plays. It's far more accurate. For instance... if a team has yet to play Carolina (NYG for example), their current SOS will look much rosier than when you take that 13-0 record into account. So why not just add the 13 wins to the total SOS right now? More accurate picture of the finish line.

The Titans have their franchise QB. Put a stud running back with him and that miserable rushing attack is going to get a lot better.
