I wouldn't have minded backing into the playoffs and hoping to somehow win our first game and getting at least one monkey off our backs before next season.

Maybe that's what's wrong with the team - they don't want to earn it, they want it handed to them.

x2. There were so many what-if's this year it's kind of sickening. Dallas didn't deserve a damn thing and that's probably why I don't feel sorry for them. And if Dallas didn't let the Ravens run for 159 yards and 2 TDs on two plays we'd be in. And if Dallas didn't blow a shot to win the Arizona game we'd be in and if Dallas hadn't let the Commanders bounce us around the first game this season we'd be in. If we didn't blow a 13-0 lead against Pittsburgh we'd be in.

Plenty of reasons we're not in this year and it has nothing to do with Graham missing a fieldgoal.
