If Shedeur is there, do we take him and reset the clock?

So we're more or less wed to Dak for the next few years. But we could in theory cut/trade him post June 1st of 2026...it would be a hefty cost but we'd be spending less on the QB position for the foreseeable future

No.

I don’t think he’s going to be an elite QB.

How exactly would that reset the clock? You think if we draft him we don't have to pay Dak?

Why draft a quarterback? We already got one. He needs help - protection. We need O-line! We need to draft guards, tackles, centers, O-line beasts. Big ones..

I'd take him!! QB1 is by far and away the most important position and our Defense is gonna be horrible next year, so might as well consider this might be a rebuilding phase??

After the recent restructuring of Dak’s contract, he is here for several more years.

Picks will be used to protect Dak, not replace him. See OL in first round yet again.

As long the off the field concerns are smoke I’d 100% be open to it.

Ideally we draft BPA since we have a franchise QB but our FO has proven they’re competent incompetent in team building with a paid QB so why not.

no
hell no
no friggin way
absolutely not
are you kidding me
surely you can't be serious
haha good one, you had there for a second

Why would you address your top need AND get the splashiest of splash picks at the same time?

Take a guard. And then take another guard tonight.

No, are you nuts? Sanders is the antithesis of being entitled. I get it, casual fans want excitement even to the detriment of the team.

Holding on to the ball too long in college = deathwish in the NFL. Pass.
