If Tennessee wins next week, is Cleveland out of playoffs?

I thought I heard Madden just say this. If that is the case, if Cleveland doesn't make the playoffs, that means they aren't one of the top 12 teams right?

Which would also mean that Dallas would get their 20th pick in draft no?

Anyone have better info on this?

Cheers and Merry Christmas

Clevelands game has no bearing whatsoever on their playoff hopes.

So if Cleveland loses and Tenn loses... then Cleveland still goes into the playoffs? But if Cleveland wins and Tenn wins... then Cleveland is out of the playoffs?

That's what I think the announcers and a couple of websites have said!
It's apparently because of the Conference and then record against similar opponents.

Yes because Cleveland will have the better conference record. The Browns are playing the 49ers and the Titans are playing the Colts. Both are 9-6 right now with Cleveland currently owning the better conference record - I think.

No way Tennessee and VY can beat the Colts.

The Colts have no reason to play anyone more then a series or two.

Here are Tennessee's games against Indy since Young came in the League last season:

@Colts: Loss 13-14
@Titans: Win 20-17
@Titans: Loss 20-22

Add this to the reason hoof already mentioned and Tennessee is more than capable of beating the Colts next weekend.
