Mens, let us suspend imagination and reality for a while and think what if that McCoy feller was suddenly available.

Now stay with me on this (not too close). I can jus see Jerra rub his thoughtful chin and look upwards and say, he say "That Molt CcCoy could energize ticket sales . . . hmmm."
And then I say, "Don't do it Jerra." But, being out of earshot and stuff, he cant here me. And he do it. McCoy in camp against that ex AGGIE McGoo.

But it wont be about talent. Just camp fodder for publicity and ticket sales.
You think this is unlikely? Colt here?

Mens, respect the brand known as Jerra. With him as with The Man, anything is possible.:starspin

Why would McCoy agree to be a third string QB? He's not better than Orton.

I would keep drafting guys until I find someone who can play but Colt would be a great backup for Romo because their play style is so similar.

Except one is successful...

Well necessity to support hisself and make his daddy proud again.

Look, do anybody here believe Jerra would pass up McCoy?
That MacGee feller is expendable, believe you me.

Thats all I gotta say.

If we are picking Big 12 QB's from that "era" I take a flyer on Graham Harrell.

Dallas leads the NFL in ticket sales and a 3rd string QB would not impact that in any way.

Would merchandising be a consideration? Pressure from McCoy's pappy?

If he's cut and could be had for a friendly contract I would say yes..could be some potential trade bait during the season if a team loses a QB to injury

You're Brad, aren't you? Only way your posts make sense.

I really think Jerra will be intrigued by McCoy, yes at a reasonable price.

He could rationalize it by thinking he could be groomed.

I think he could succeed. It is not like he will be playing Alabama or nuthing.

Sorry i was trying to make a point. you know, words can hurt.

McCoy would probably beat out McGee for the #3 spot, but what's the point? We'd have to pay him at least a decent salary and he'd never play a down.
