If the Cowboys win out

What have people seen this season to make them think we have more than the slimmest chance of winning out? Someone walk me through it.

If the cowboys win out. They will make the playoffs. Bank on it.

Winning out is going to be the hard part.

This is how I feel as well. Winning out feels extremely difficult, though less so with Lee coming back and Zeke on the horizon for the tougher games.

We're talking about playoffs when we just got spanked by the Eagles and Chargers and we beat up on a decimated bad Commanders team.

I'll jump on the wagon when we beat a good team and Dak throws for over 250 yards. Until then I have zero hope of playoffs lol.

Don't get ahead of yourself. I'd settle for over 150 from Dak at this point.

win 2 straight w/ no Zeke against struggling teams + Cowboys' passing offense struggling

then win 2 straight with a highly probable "rusty" Zeke against a good Seahawks team and a division rival who may or may not rest starters depending on how the race for the 1 seed and 1st Rd bye goes

seems like too much adversity for a Garrett coached team
But how sweet it would be! Overcoming our coaching -- and corrupt league -- woes to make it. If we make the playoffs, I'm more proud of our guys than 2014 and 2016. The chutzpah it would take to make it, after the ups and downs of this season, would be remarkable, Pugilist.

This damned team, stringing hope along one week at a time LOL

We make the playoffs 79% of the time. Our odds improved slightly by 1% over the last week where is was at 78%.

If we lose to the Seachickens it drops to 43% of outcomes.

The site is a welcome alternative to the whining and doomsaying that is all the rage around here lately for those of us who want to develop an informed opinion.

It's a further useful tool as it points out via color coding which matchups are most important and how we want them to turn out to get into the playoffs. Green is good.

Preach brother!

I'm not worried about winning out. We've seen enough to know the Cowboys ought to beat the Giants coming up. After that, there's an OAK team that's had its own share of disappointments.

I just want to get to the point where we're fully healthy and have all our players playing. If we lose the SEA or PHI games, I'm ok with that. But both ought to be good games if we get there with the season still alive.

Anyone calculate the odds of us actually winning out? Didn't think so.

A .500 team who hasn't beaten a winning team all year still has to play 2 winning teams. And is still missing their best offensive weapon for 2 more games.

2 of those teams are after Zeke is back. Just saying

Why? Because I don't throw in the towel 2 weeks before a game? lol. Yeah I got some growing up to do for sure. Why even watch if you know whats going to happen. Im sure there are much better things you can do with your time

Because you got emotional over an anonymous persons opinion on a messageboard

Who is emotional? I was just saying Id love to predict games so I can win some money. For the record. Responses on a message board are pretty common.

Then just win out, baby!

I think standard odds--so odds that don't assume anything--have us at 5%. They must not like our odds to win out...bastids

Just looked at the model in the OP and it has us at 5 - 7% chance.
Just turnoff the assumed wins and let it run unbiased to get the "clean result"

I'll take the 79% instead:flagwave:
