If the draft fell like this, and you couldn't trade back

Trade down with whoever will give you the best value and desperate and dumb enough to trade for Sanders!

for me:
•de shemar stewart,texas a&m.
•de james pearce,tennessee(not listed).
•og tyler booker,alabama.
•ot josh simmons,ohio st(not listed).

i'd be happy with any of those four.
right now...i'd lean stewart.
The word is there are very legitimate concerning character issues with Pearce. It's picking up steam as we get closer to draft.

I like Simmons in this scenario. Next would be Golden Barron then Warren

1. Titans- QB Cam Ward, Miami
2. Browns- CB/WR Travis Hunter, Colorado
3. Giants- DE Abdul Carter, Penn State
4. Patriots- WR Tet McMillan, Arizona
5. Jaguars- DT Mason Graham, Michigan
6. Raiders- RB Ashton Jeanty, Boise State
7. Jets- RT Armand Membou, Missouri
8. Panthers- Edge/LB Jalon Walker, Georgia
9. Saints- CB Will Johnson, Michigan
10. Bears- DE Mykel Williams, Georgia
11. 49ers- T/G Will Campbell, LSU

If only 1 QB goes before the Cowboys pick, it really hurts.
Choices:
WR Matthew Golden, Texas
TE Tyler Warren, Penn State
T/G Kelvin Banks, Texas
G Tyler Booker, Alabama
Edge Mike Green, Marshall
DE Shemar Stewart, Texas A&M
DB Jahdae Barron, Texas

None of the picks are Ideal and trading down requires another team to want to move up for one of these guys. If you have to stay put and pick, who would it be.

For me I would go with
1. G Booker
2. Edge Green
3. DB Barron

Not having a player there that really jumps off the page, my thinking would be to just draft the safest player.
Booker is the least likely player to bust, from this list; in my opinion. The Interior line becomes a strength and the team has said they want to run the ball a lot this season.

I would also sign T Tyron Smith after the draft to play swing tackle for a year. If signed after the draft he doesn't affect the comp pick formula. It would be nice to have a failsafe for Guyton and Steele.

What would you do if it went like this. Everyone is just assuming that multiple QB's are taken before 12.
LT- Josh Simmons Ohio St./Richards
LG- T. Smith
C-Beebe/Hoffman
RG- Hernandez/Bass
RT-Guyton/Steele

Then let's roll.....

Hmm
If I go need
Barron
Hampton
Banks

But I’m hoping they just Best player available
So that opens th door for Warren ,
Green , Golden

I'd wager the pick would be Josh Simmons or Shemar Stewart.

Simmons is right up the Cowboys' alley. Injured last year, and an OL, previously projected as a top 10 pick. He checks almost every Jones/McClay box.

If I can't trade down, I'm probably taking Banks. I'm sold on him as a tackle, so he looks like my best bet at the money positions. I don't want to deal with Pearce and Green's off-field issues, and I don't like Shedeur as a prospect at all.

A trade down would be the best move in this scenario, and with Shedeur (the last sort-of-viable starting QB) and Banks (arguably the last viable starting OT) on the board, I am betting someone would give us a haul to move up. There's like 8 dudes I would be happy to take at this pick, so give me more ammo and I'll take whoever's left later on.

Booker just is a maulers, but he doesn't run worth a crap. There are runs he get can't support because of that lack of athletic talent. To me that's not a top 12 pick. Maybe in the 20s, but not 12.

Give me the Penn State TE or Green. I am not planning on Sam Williams to be a starter. Too many injuries and part of his quick twitch is flat out gone. Green would be better. Better natural pass rushing skills. Fergie regressed last year a lot and he is on the last year of his rookie contract. Penn State TE is already better and a position of need.

We need so much talent. It's just amazing how we are now versus how good we were just two years ago. Jerry should retire.

I would actually draft Shadeur Sanders in that case.

We would get a boatload of offers but I would draft him and let him learn behind Dak for a year or 2 till he's ready.

Dak has been injury prone the last 3 seasons also. Daks contract ties us to him another 2 years but we'd have the cost friendly rookie deal with Shadeur that balances everything out.

We're not winning a title this year but we'll be somewhat competitive.

BPA with this scenario is likely Banks or Green.

I’d honestly consider Sanders if I knew the Jones’ would push all the chips in with a rookie QB but we’d have to find a trade partner to eat some of Daks contract. Both of those happening doesn’t seem likely.

I like Banks but I don’t love overkill on 1st round OLmen and the fact he might be a guard.

Green has some off the field concerns but if they’re clear I might lean towards him.

If we could find a trade down scenario for Sandwrs that’s best case scenario.
