If the Eagles win tonight, could Romo get his job back?

To start off I am a Dak guy, have been all season. So this is not homerism not is it any kind of "dream scenario" like some Romo backers have had threads about. I'm against this happening, but I think it could happen.

If the Giants win tonight we wrap up home field advantage.

So our next two games could be meaningless vs Lions and vs Eagles. I think it's fair to say it's not out of the question for Romo to play in those games if home field is wrapped up.

Jerry is obviously Pro-Romo and we could very well go into the playoffs not knowing who the starter is. If Romo comes in and plays well, Jerry might just stay with him. Although Stephen will probably object, Jerry has final say.

Agree or disagree that this is a possibility?

No. Romo is unlikely to take another snap as a Cowboy unless Dak gets injured.

No. Romo is unlikely to take another snap again as a Cowboy unless Dak gets injured.

So if we wrap up home field do you think Dak continues to play? Or Sanchez starts or splits time?

Jerry did say we're not resting if we clinch home field so maybe Romo doesn't see the field at all like you said, but I think they could allow it to be Romo's decision.

No. We have to stay hungry and play like we haven't won anything which we haven't. I still remember that 2007 team celebrating like crazy because they won the NFC East. The NFC East means nothing other than it helps us get to a SB. A bye does not mean we won a playoff game.

I think Dak continues to play the rest of the year, every snap, unless he is injured.

You guys are probably right, it's just Jerry's recent comments sort of spooked me. He said Romo let Dak and the team off the hook by saying it's Dak's team. I was like WAT? It's like he's almost trolling Dak.

Jerry just needs to shut up.

Jerry has already stated on record that he intentionally stokes the QB controversy fires in order to generate interest in the team. That's all, I wouldn't let it bother you.

No because Garrett will have the say on who plays. Romo very well may play but Dak is the starting QB

Dallas made their bed, Romo is done here unless of an injury to Dak. There is no logical reason to rest Dak, I don't want him to have a month off before his first playoff game.

You play him until the 2nd half against the Eagles then let Romo or Sanchez finish it.......if the game has no meaning.

I think IF we clinch tonight, Romo is seen against Detroit IF it is a blowout AND it's mid-way into the 4th quarter. Kind of a Dallas goodbye send off.

Why would you be against it happening? If Romo was so clearly better that they made him the starter, wouldn't you want the best for the team?

It's too late for this to happen though. Barring injury it is Dak the rest of the way.

Jerry Jones has timeshares taking up space inside some folks' skulls, with pantries stocked full of Johnnie Walker Blue Label.

Then if dak gets injured in either meaningless game we will have to hear how they "knew we shouldn't be chancing dak"s health" lol
