I can't pretend to hate on the niners for reaching the NFC championship, win or lose. The Cowboys haven't sniffed more than a division championship in years, so I'm not going to dog them out for what SF has achieved.

That said, I want them to lose in agonizing fashion.

Kaepernick would not be in the same sentence as Romo and Rivers, but he would be approaching (maybe a couple more late losses) McNabb.

I'm completely positive that both Romo and Rivers could take SF as deep or deeper in the playoffs than Kaep has. But that's apples and oranges stuff...so since they have not taken their (albeit, vastly inferior) teams as far, he actually gets more playoff cred than they do.

I grew up hating the 49 ers and saw all the games from the late 70's on. The only player I ever liked was Joe Montana, only because he was the best I ever saw.

Today? I don't hate them like I use to. They went through such a lull and Debartolo and the gang all moved on, new ownership, etc. and sucked it up for a decade.

Now I'm envious and say what you want about Harbaugh, but I love the guy. He knows how to win.

I would rather see Seattle take it, but I think this 49er team is on a mission.

He did make it to the Super Bowl last year. It really depends if the game ends on a gaffe by Colin.

Honestly at this point you want one of those two teams (SF/Sea) to win because the only chance one of them will weaken is if they have to give their QB a Flacco-special mega deal some day. Although, as smart as those two teams are run, maybe they will just promote another 2nd/3rd rounder.

Romo has ONE playoff win. He has no playoff cred and Rivers is close behind although he almost beat the Pats in the AFC Championship game on one leg so he deserves a little love for that effort.
49ers appearing in three straight NFC championships is an astonishing feet. I don't hate them, I envy them.

Is this a joke? I hate the 9ers and especially the qb but really? First off the qb is starting his 2nd season at qb and is a game away from his second superbowl. The team under harbaugh is in its third nfc ship game in a row and is one of the toughest teams in football while our team is physically and mentally the softest team in pro sports and we are trying to make fun of them?? I will root against them big time but holy crap am I jealous of what a real coach can do.
