Lets say they take Hunter at 3 and then look to trade back into round one to take Sanders. You get giants 2nd round this year and a 1 and a 3 next year for 12 would you pull the triggert? I would for sure and hope to get Manning the following year.

It would definitely be worth considering even without being specifically tied to Arch.

A big haul would be the ticket if we had an organization competent enough to clear the roster & do a massive rebuild with a 3 year plan.

I don't hate the logic, but I would push for a little bit more than that package for our 1st rounder this year. Not that i think the Giants will be great next year, but I doubt they are another top 3 pick in 2026. At very least I would try to get both the 2nd and 3rd round picks from this years draft. I would absolutely do it though.

2025 2,3 2026 1,2,3 AND WE HAVE A DEAL.

NO WAY...that's way too little for #12 pick. they have to pay heck of a lot more than that.

#12 is worth 1200 points,
their 2nd round pick is worth 560.

next year's picks are worth half, assume they won't pick in top 5 and probably 18th to 20th...so that's 450 points.
and same for 3rd next year, 90 points....

not if they pick lower than 18...then its even worse.
now one may argue, they might pick top 10...but then you are carrying all the risk.

so we just lost that trade....to move up to the top 15, they have to pay at least 1st, 2nd next year. 2nd and 4th this year.

Whatever it takes to move into the top 5 in a year with 2-3 potential franchise QBs. This is not the year to take a QB in the first. We’ve got to get a guy who can overcome the incompetence of our front office. Then and only then will there be light at the end of the tunnel. It’s hilarious how many jumped on the Milton signing. We have to be the most gullible fan base in the history of the nfl.

Yes. Moving down 22 spots. Doing the math on the value chart that looks favorable.

5 of the top 70-75 (or better) picks next sounds pretty good. Next year trade down one of the 1st rounders far enough and they could realistically get 6 of the top 75 or so picks including 2 picks in each of the first 3 rounds.

:omg:

Who are the two or three franchise quarterbacks. Manning has not done anything yet to say he is a franchise and knowing the Manning family, he won’t be available until 2027.

I really like the line of thinking and they very much ought to do things like this.

They won’t though. Each years first round pick is why Jerry thinks they are Super Bowl bound. Thinks it’s like signing a major free agent. It’s an old and tired act that’s running out of time.

A lot a moving parts you’re assuming to throw a wrench in!
What’s the likelihood of Manning coming out?
Considering the family puts a premium on education and not exactly needing money and when you consider both Payton and Eli who had much better stats by this time in their career both stayed I’d think it’s very unlikely!

With both Wilson and Winston on the roster I’m guessing this is a 6-9 win at least next season and I’d doubt Daboll is just going to roll over for another coach to get to coach Manning!

Why wouldn’t they just trade down with someone wanting to take Hunter after they took the kid from LSU last season.
Trade down with Jacksonville who takes Hunter.
Trade down again with the Saints who take Jeanty or Tet!
Be a hell of a lot easier to do that than trade up from 35 to 12 for a QB they’ve pretty much made clear they’re not interested in!

no, not for that amount of compensation.
Give me 2, 3 this year and 1, 2, 3 next yer

that would be STUPID crazy for the NFL!!!!!!!!! Both players staying with each other, man they would have to add a player in to, send big Dexter !! lol

Arch is going to use up all his college eligibility. Thats 2 more years
that's good save one for the following year that way we'll be able to get out from that horrendous deal from our current starter and move on

I am a strong believer that the Cowboys need a couple of years to fix this mess they are in now so I would definitely consider this trade. Future drafts are unpredictable, but having 2 #1s next year does open up some possibilities to move up in 2026. And this is a good draft for multiple 2s and 3s.

I don't think they will get Hunter. I think they will get Carter. The Giants defense could be pretty good in 2025.

That's completely off the trade value chart reservation. No team is giving up a 3 and 1, 2 and 3 next year for the 12th pick.

So? If you want me to drop out of rd 1 than you're paying a premium for it. That's not crazy to think that way. And I'm not moving out of rd 1 without at least 2 high picks back in this draft. And next year's picks are half priced, and unknown as to where they will actually be valued.
But I'd consider reducing it, a little.
Oh, btw, 34 and next year's 1 and 3 are not even be close to chart value for 12. Just sayin

If we traded down from 12 to the 20's or something then for sure we should be able to get more. Trade down to the 20's and they come calling us........................
