If the NFCE QBs were switched who would win the division?

I don’t think Eagles have a drop off. If rookie year JD is in Dallas I’d say Cowboys.

Whoever asked this question is clever. The back snd forth between Eagles and Cowboy fans has to be hilarious lol.

Could you imagine JD5 with the current Eagles offense??? Lord have mercy.... it would be ugly for every defense they played against.

If he’s healthy. I saw some concerning things from him last year but yeah they would be nasty with his threat of legs.

I agree with you, but how many weeks until he's injured... JD5 wouldn't play a whole season in Dallas or anywhere else the way its looking.
Hand the ball off and make the big play as needed

Eagles would be nasty with Dak. I think he fits their team much better than Hurts. Cowboys would be solid too with Daniels. The Giants and Commadants just kind of suck and their QB’s are the lesser two in my opinion, although Hurts always surprises me. He might fit well with Harbaugh actually.

Eagles
Cowboys
Giants
Commandants

Can’t say, but I’ll tell you the one that won’t win… will implode, make deadly mistakes and have the excuses made by his fans already posted in the 4th quarter. The OL, the butter fingered receivers, the defense sucked, the sun sets in the west, the sun rises in the east, gravity is cruel, Mother nature is unpredictable, Father Time is…. You know who by now.

Aren’t we lucky? SMDH.

I doubt it changes the dynamic all that much. In today’s version of the game I really believe the QB is more so a product of their supporting cast, and have less of an impact on the W/L record than they did a couple decades ago. Some exceptions to that but I think you either have a top 3ish QB, someone who really isn’t very good, or 1 of about 20 guys that are relatively close in ability.
I 1000% agree which questions "why is so much money being doled out on QB's in general (Nevermind the fact we have the highest paid QB and haven't sniffed the playoffs in some time)? I know it's not Dak's fault. That is totally on the Joneses. I think my question is to the Joneses.

Yep. Eagles would dominate with Dak, but do they have to cut a few guys to accomodate his contract?
No, they would not, how many times do people have to say it, there’s always always cap room. You just have to manipulate it.

I think QBs are getting paid what they are because they also deliver the most revenue from season ticket sales and merchandise.

I think qb contracts have sort of leveled off since the Dak deal as teams are becoming wiser, but while the QB mega deals are hurting most franchises they’re still good for revenue.

This isnt a guessing game. Stand ten toes down and say the QB you're talking about.

Somehow you want this mystery QB to do what no QB in history has done... win the division, playoffs and SB in any and every situation his teammates hand him... and if he doesn't, its 100% his fault.

Winning takes a team working together, because a QB literally can't do everything.

Stupid thread. These "what-if" questions are so infantile. What if the NFC had Marvel characters and the AFC had D.C comics characters? Let's stick to reality football folks.

The best question is, which one of those NFCE quarterbacks could take this Dallas Cowboys team to the playoffs last season with a 32nd ranked defense.

I'll give you a hint.... none of them.

You're wasting your breath. You're talking to someone who called a 32nd ranked defense, receivers dropping passes and a 21st ranked offensive line ALL excuses.

You cant teach some people what common sense looks like. Some people just aren't intelligent enough to understand how a football TEAM works.

This. Howie Roseman understands this and they are already preparing for life after Hurts (if he does not succeed like they want him to). They will not just accept playoff appearances as success. They will flip him for picks and go with someone else without blinking if that situation repeats for a year or two more.

Since we're coming up on the deadzone in the offseason... I saw this question proposed and thought it was a interesting one.

IMO Cowboys and Eagles would still be fighting for the division...

JD is a really good QB and would be borderline great here with our Off. but the Def. is still a big question mark.

Since the Eagles basicly have a complete team... Dak would thrive.

The dead zone you mean the schedule release Still talking about draft picks and free agents and building a roster it's not a dead zone..

So carry on with your silliness.....

How do you figure How about Saquon Barkley's contract compared to our running back is how much Let me see let me do the math 12 million more, They also have two receivers under contract making a ton of money I bet if you find that offensive line they have a lot of money invested in it now go to the defensive side and they've extended a lot of contracts gave out new contracts on defense this year I'm betting their cap is about the same or worse than ours..

So that wouldn't not come into this i'm pretty sure that their quarterback makes around 50.. Ours make 60 But again just running backs alone evens us out right That's right it didn't take long I did it in my head and from memory I'm not looking up sport tracking doing the cap comparisons but I can tell you this I bet it's pretty damn close...
