I highly doubt the Pats take DMac, more likely they trade down pick up another number 1 in 09 like they do almost every year and pick another solid player in the middle of round 1. They spent a #1 on Maroney, and I don't think they want a high bonus top five pick, but we'll see.

I think they either trade down for 2 #1s as a big ** to the league office or they will take Chris Long, DE Virginia. He is their type of player and true 3-4 DEs are hard to find. I think they will be content with Mauroney and Morris.
