If the Packers beat the 49ers does that lesson the blow of a Dallas loss?

Nope. It’s can guarantee you it will be a blowout like we saw. That was perhaps the biggest pathetic display of performance that I have ever seen. It is even worse then when the Yankees were up 3-1 and lost to the Red Sox’s 4-3 in 2003 ALCS.

No. The product they put on the field for the consumers was unacceptable. There is no absolution.

Did you feel better when the Niners beat the Packers at GB after beating us in 2021?

What do you think? I think I underestimated how good the Packers were. A few years ago I did the same of the 49ers and now I think they are the best team in football. I still love my Boys.

The Packers aren't suddenly a great team. They're mediocre at best. Their "run" to make the playoffs? 3 wins over losing teams that didn't make the playoffs, 2 of them close.

They won't beat the 49ers, the Niners won't have a DC that will insist on staying in a nickel D regardless of the offense's personnel, and they won't face anything resembling the Charmin soft Cowboys in the trenches. But no, should GB somehow win the game, it does nothing to alleviate yesterday's no-show.

The only way to lessen the blow is for massive overhaul to this team. Nothing else matters.

That said, seeing Philly get blown out tonight would be nice.

Saw this same question posed after the Giants toppled the mighty Patriots in ‘07.

My response: Sure. If you’re capable of those sort of mental gymnastic to rationalize and cope, have at it.

I have a feeling GB will make it a game in Santa Clara..1 thing I know for sure is they actually have a QB that can play the game of football.

The quick answer is no, but I tried to warn y'all last week how good Green Bay was on a controlled fast track given their success @ Detroit and @ Minnesota.

Football math doesn't work. It is Any Given Sunday. If they beat the 49ers, makes no difference to me. A 12-5 team that was supposedly trending up and seed #2, should have performed better against ANYONE in the league than 48-16 halfway through the 4th quarter.

I think there’s going to be a lot of people even more surprised when they see how bad this Packers team looks against the Niners. In the last few games, they lost to the Giants and Bucs and barely beat the Bears and Panthers.
